Less than 6 month old the "Made in China" aftermarket radio packed up. All the stored radio station re-set it self every time the car restart.
Come on Sime Darby stop providing crap system for what is the most expensive vehicle in your showroom. Just give us the OEM Hyundai navigation system instead of cheap made in china crap. |

QUOTE(Linhold @ Nov 13 2015, 05:35 PM) I am not owner, but next year I plan to buy a car. I need a family version, this is very spacious, although has a large expense. I want to install a gas installation, it is cheaper to travel long distances. You mean ngv? I have one car at home running this fuel. To be honest. It's more ideal for city driving than long distance. Each tank for my toyota answer cannot go beyond 140km. Mind you, I'm using the largest single fiber tank. For outstation travel you may face shortage of Station capable of supplying the gas. Cost of recover and savings are good. But the power and driving experience is pathetic if you need to haul stuffs. Which is why I chose to go with diesel. Better savings and more power when needed. |

What to look for? Problems. Spare part cheap? Easy to maintain? Hows the torque? Hardly got comments here and there.. I mean in lowyat forums. |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Jun 6 2017, 01:14 AM) any problem after how many years of usage? 5 years. Major problem is always kena saman for speeding. Parts and service much more expensive than proton.im waiting for price drop for Y2016 that comes with power boot option was in Hyundai sales they discontinuing santa fe soon..will concentrate on tucson as santa fe now crossing 200k++ power boot is a useless feature. few of my car club members were craze on this feature, bought the accessories from korea and installed it. fancy for a few moment, then discover its a nuisance as its not really practical for daily use. Really? I thought they're slowing down the sales since the new santa fe is in the pipeline for launching soon. |

If you ask SA, they sure tell you better get tucson because they need to see tucson la.. if you really count on the road, there are slightly more santa fe than tucson. Yes, 200k is expensive, because Sime Darby think its ok to milk more money. plus our currency already jatuh like no value already. Its not susah want to sell, but rather there are a spoilt of choice at this price range. SF is mostly for people who wants power, practical, Fuel Saving, looks, but do not care langsung about resale value. at this price range the japanese counterpart which is much more cheaper is the Xtrail, but the 2 seats behind cannot pakai one. Right now, for the 2.2l and below diesel variant, this engine alongside with sorento and kia carnival has the highest stock output. Tucson CRDI engine? not sure, I doubt they will cannibalize Santa Fe's market. if they do bring in, I would think its only for the 1.6 CRDI variant or Max also 2.0 korean version. 2.2 CRDI is overkill for such a small size. |

Not sure. But half of the santa fe kaki already remap. Min 500nm. Speed cut removed. 200 hp and daily driven.
2.0 ok. As far as I know only Korea have the 2.0 diesel. I thought sime Darby wants to push the petrol turbo variant ? |

I have just been inside my friends one week old santa fe. He got RM 30k off for buying a 2015 model from a dealer in Kuantan for premium diesel. Quite good buy for him actually. The santa fe exterior is very nice. Looks like Audi. They interior is kind of dated like the previous elantra. His car has a sunroof and a dash cam. I did not know you get a dash cam built in.

After spending time in the santa fe, I noticed few things which could be improved.
The blue climate control back light. Is it possible to change that to a different colour or have a dimmer so that it does not not glare at night? I see the fl version in us which does not even have the screen anymore. I assume it is integrated in the dash. For a big car, there are no rear ac vents or plug to charge phone. Not sure if you can retrofit it since the activation code goes all the way to the 3rd row. What other things which owners think can be improved? |

Hyundai should improve on 2nd row folding for easy entrance to 3rd row. Something like what Honda implement on BRV. |

QUOTE(xxdooyo @ Aug 27 2017, 07:26 PM) Are you in the santa fe what's app group? If yes ask Sean to put up in the remap group. Single payment multiple flash for stages. Currently I heard as of today it's stage 3 map already. Everyone is saying it's faster than before. Fc depends on your right foot. They do have the low fc type map but most of them claim no syok. |
