Just replaced my TnG card (card expire month June 2022) with Enhanced TnG card FOC at TnG Bangsar South.

FOC since my card expire this month. Just walk in to TnG Bangsar South or Nu Sentral Hub. If you can't do it yourself, you need to prepare proxy letter to ask someone to do on behalf. Very simple letter will do. Any further info required, you can call up TnG to check.

you mean can request to transfer the balance from existing card to the new NFC card and can get the new NFC card for free?

or only for the expired card?

After submitted refund request 6 months ago, finally received the respond. It is such a hassle processes. I would suggest used up the balance and throw away the card.

Where to buy the NFC card from? How much does it cost?

I bought my first NFC card a while back during the hooha and always out of stock period.

Guess what? After a little over a year, the NFC card was unable to be scanned anymore.

Went over to NU Sentral TNG counter and sure enough they said the NFC card is faulty.

Staff said they will refund the balance but there is no free replacement for the card since it's more than 1 month since I purchased it (1 month warranty on NFC card)

What rubbish is this? If this is the kind of tidak apa attitude that TNG continue to have, can say bye bye to people using their app and services.

The enhanced TNG card does not have any form of dormancy imposed to it. Hence, you may use it freely throughout the 7 years of the card's lifetime. The card will be inactive upon expiring after 7 years.

Do note that if your card is terminated prior to the expiry date, it will become inactive. Termination may arise from the following actions:

Card termination in the event of lost card;
Card termination due to customer’s request; or
Balance transfer from an old card to a new card. Old card will be terminated

One of my tng card is expiring end of this month with balance of rm12+, and another expiring in Dec2024. Anyway to transfer this balance of rm12 instead of using it?

Hi recently I topup to my IC for TnG. Then I registered in the TnG portal for the IC (use Mfg no). I noticed there is expiry date on 2026... Why there is  expiry for IC and does that mean I need to renew my IC to extend the expiry?

dont think they can deduct because they cannot determine the amount (no exit time)
