Using Touch and Go to pay for parking is blood sucking.

10% extra on the final amount of the parking and this attracts GST! WTF!

Shouldn't they start to mass promote cashless system by absorbing the 10%.

Agree too, should be less paper and encourage people use TnG... many shopping malls available for TnG but all extra charge, don't think people will use it.

Used one before, after that no next time doh.gif
If you holding ticket and long queue, but still, you need to worry whether can out or not right... additional time for ticket only 15~20 min... night time is better to use TnG especially for female I guess

Some mall is phasing out paper based parking ticket and implementing card based; i.e. Queensbay Mall, Penang

On top of that, you need to have a min balance too. I think RM 20.

The old version is only temporary affecting usage at retailers POS.
I'm not a fan of this channel of payment unless they offer more reload channels of using CC.

Stop dreaming!
It won't happen.

The only mechanism that I can think of to implement something like Samsung Pay.
TnG App is NFC enabled and TnG e-Wallet in the app can be transacted with the TnG pad the toll gate.

Grab SG has admitted that the implementation of above idea on its MRT line will be a huge challenge!
Not to say not doable at all but needs a lot of efforts/resources/support (push).

TnG already conducting the never ending RFID test in klang valley toll booth....

RFID is coming... Just matter of when.
O will any competitor able to break into toll payment channel
*
How it works?
It auto deducts from the virtual wallet?
Virtual wallet can be topped up like all the e-wallet in the market without the presence of physical card?

Hello guys, anybody can advise how to link my tng card with my tng app? I mean how does the system recognise my tng card when I reload? Tq in advance
*
Not possible for the mean time.
TnG App is e-wallet
TnG Card is separate login. To view its details, you need to login from web.

I am already a registered user on the MYTouchnGo Portal. Does that mean I automatically have a Touch 'n Go eWallet account?
No. You are still required to download and register the Touch 'n Go eWallet account. The MYTouchnGo Portal only manages your Touch 'n Go cards while the Touch 'n Go eWallet is an eWallet that allows you to make payments and more via the mobile app.

Hi bro David, thank you for pointing that out. So my understanding is that if I were to reload my tng, I can’t do it via the tng ewallet app or can I? Sorry for asking cause earlier upon successful registration for the tng app, when I chose the Reload option it went straight to payment option.
*
The Reload option is TnG App is meant to reload the e-wallet of the TnG App; not the TnG physical card.
But ... something exciting will be coming with the implementation of RFID next year.

RFID will and should use amount stored in the TnG App e-wallet.

Check balance only right?
Nothing further than that I presumed!

Now the tng app can add the tng physical card. But only can check balance. Wonder why they still cant add the top up tng function?
*
Because there's no easy way to transfer the reload amount seamlessly to the physical card.
Previous TnG App launch required you to update the reloaded/transferred amount from the e-wallet to the physical card at the physical pod (PUD).
That idea has been scrapped and TnG App has been recalled before a re-launch during Raya time frame.

I have a feeling that they may want to implement mechanism for physical TnG card:

1. Go to merchants or participating merchants with physical TnG card reload machine and at the same time also a merchant of TnG QR payment
2. User to transfer the amount from e-wallet from TnG App to the merchant wallet using QR Payment or Transfer method
3. Merchant to update the balance of physical TnG card based on the received transferred amount

What you guys think? Workable? In the pipeline?
