This happens if you scan and didn't hear the two times beep. If you tap again, gone case. I always pray hard when I use KTM. Luckily, I take LRT all the time. Thank God.

the reader's RFID power is not strong enough to "wakeup" tng card. that's why sometimes u need to put the card for few seconds longer so that tng card gets enough power to turn on, receive transmission from reader, then update the chip's data back.
