Oh ok, now I understand.

The reason why I reload RM800 to 1000 per month is because my husband and I have combined RM3.5k monthly car allowances (petrol, toll top up, maintenance etc) to use. If I don't use it, it is burned. So no choice but to reload TNG like crazy, and if got too much, then refund.

Don't think they care. Anything car related is counted, even non essential services.

It's part of remuneration package with annial cap so whether I use it to buy new sports rims or top up TNG it doesn't make a difference to them. My colleagues use their allowance to change most expensive rims and tyres and car detailing / upholstering every year just to use up the allowance. I think that's even more wasteful.

Used my TNG to buy groceries at Kiara Mart today (at Plaza Mont Kiara). Current promotion gives 5% discount for payment using TNG.

My new strategy is to reload TNG at Jaya Grocer (get 6% using PBB VS + promotional cashback - currently the 5x/8x promo) and then buy groceries at Kiara Mart (5% TNG discount).
