windows 7 can use addi keybo, taiwan traditional > phonetic > advanced setting > PinYin Input

windows 8, easiest setup, sogou pinyin

all friendly user setup, update your own memory with bofomofo

You got to switch from chinese input's english input to chinese input's chinese input by pressing your "shift" button.

Skip it imo, I have been skipping it for all my characters. People are doing it just for the costume it drops, it gives nothing important.
