i did asked once. something like RM130 or RM150. forgot already. my luck. managed to claim the second one before the warranty ended few days later.

I faced this problem too, had my abs sensor changed and my brakes hoses bleeded, however according to SC the brake light issue normally happens when  it's rainy days, water leaks in to some sensor...lol.

On another note, after service I still faced gear difficult to engage from P to D or R after long cooldown, I wonder if its the brakes itself or the brake switch at the pedal...

want to ask, for cfe turbo engine, when driving is your temperature bar is just 2 bars or 3 bars?

I have bad review for one of proton's sc... went for 10k 2nd service and they did not properly put back one of the water tank cap. I guess water starts to vaporize and my engine got hotter. Now back to normal after add in water and press on the cap properly.

The in cabin air filter also.... asked to check, they confirm they will clean it automatically even if we did not ask... but wtf is this?

tuboflardTBH, wish I have answers for you. Probably for CVT fluid, it is different from Auto Transmission fluid, do not use wrong. I'm uslng Amsoil CVT fluid.

Clan204Proton CVT oil is not bad. Oil is a subjective thing, and in the end, a personal choice. There's a dealer around my area, you'd have to find yours, either through mudah, or lelong, or some other means.

Hi All, I am going to buy an Exora Bold 2013 CFE Turbo version, already access the car and the owner (direct owner) told me that there is a fan sound after off engine, it is happen almost everytime, fan run about a few minutes.

Would like to get advices from owners here, weather this is common for Exora Turbo or it has to be fix in SC later?

  haha..then probably just another useless button....I think since the fan sound after engine off is common, I will just nego with the owner if he can send to SC for a inspection and maintenance on Coolant and Gear Oil before deal.

Others wise seems nothing can do, I still not sure that car fuel consumption yet, hopefully still okay for mileage 68k currently..

Well, my Exora Bold was purchased in Feb 2013.

Just reached 120,000km service interval.

Maintenance cost is rather high for me.

Engine mounting blocks and bush replaced. Cannot recall how much but easily over RM500+.

Last year, tensioner spring for turbo unit replacement about RM300-400.

01 June 2018 - one of the radiator fans failed. Replacement RM200+ (Outside shop replacement. They said I was lucky to have it last so long as the other Exoras they repaired rosak earlier).

Then late June 2018, water pump koyak. That one already almost RM500.

This is all wear and tear, apparently.

Not to mention the 60,000km major service intervals requiring:-

CVT oil and filter change RM300+

4 Spark plugs if from Proton SC RM300+ (I bought Mitsubishi NGKs instead for RM200) Look for Iridium spark ILKAR7G7 model spark plugs

Regular service [every 5,000km as I use semi-synthetic only] engine oil, filter and labour is RM200+

I only use the Exora around the city for work and picking up kids daily, daily mileage is about 60km. Once a while, an outstation trip on highway.

So I don't think that maintenance of an Exora is cheap!

Batteryman test voltage 12.8V is when engine is off? Or running? This is a new battery voltage, when engine not running. Ideally, should be above 12.6V when cold.
When engine running, and shows anything between 13.6 - 14.4V is very good.

Just change the damn alternator and the cables. Peace of mind. Morning car cannot start how? Take grab to work?

That bad ar.. I was thinking of buying either or exora, avanza or innova as it similar price.

Your exora is cps or cfe version?
