Hi, i'm a new Exora Bold owner received my car last month and just curious to know that does it comes with free service for labor charges and parts? because i've sent the car for 1000km 2 day ago for a service, they say proton only offer "free labor charges" and does not include "parts", RM140 for Semi oil and filter change only.

I just want to know hows this car overall..  I plan to downgrade from stream...  Afraid i will lose everything i term of what i mentioned above.. No offense...

Hi everyone. Am interested on Exora due to family member increase. Upgrade from sedan to MPV.
Test drive Exora and Ertiga last month, wife prefer Exora due to space and complain Ertiga interior hard to maintain.
I a bit "reject" proton due to previous experience, Waja owner!!!
Question:
1. Power steering - Feel very heavy compare to others such as Myvi and Honda. Any female owner here and share, as this will be my wife weekday ride. Will it hard to handle?
2. ISOFix - One thing border me a lot is the 2nd roll do not come with ISOFix, is there any solution to add the ISOFix? Child seat is a MUST for me.
3. Service center - Am staying near shah alam, so properly will send to proton HQ for service, I presume they should be 1 of the best since is the HQ, am my assumption correct?

Latest update from COSE, my request to change gearbox under warranty is allowed. Now they are waiting for the gearbox.
For those who missed my post previously, my car had a bad jerking issue which turned out a gearbox problem.
This is about to reach 4 years old exora bold with 3 years warranty period is already over.
Luckily i keep sending it to proton sc,so they allow me to change gearbox with no cost.

It wasnt that hard actually.
At first of cos the SA  said this car warranty period is over.
But still he do some background check on the record before saying that actually he can help appeal for it to be still under warranty since my service record was good. Just need to pay for cvt oil replacement

my exora bold 2012 milage 100,000km under repair by one of the proton centre
problem engine light on, cvt light on, and rpm meter goes maximum (8,000rpm) without engine on just ignition on (even engine on rpm still stay at maximum)
car can start but in limp or home mode cannot accelerate moving at only 20km
change accelerator peddle sensor, swap ecu and tcu, clean throttle body, check wirings but still the same problems

Finally got my car back. Total for changing engine mounting is RM451. Now the car is very quiet, like new.

this model should have BT. but i'm not sure for models without the on-steering controls.

Hey guys I'm wondering if Exora is worth it. I like boot size of it and it is good for my father who has stroke to get in and he said he likes the car.

However, I've heard people say the engine and radiator causes problems after a few years.

Can anyone vouch for exora so I can finally pull the trigger thanks!

Great to here, I had a 2011 Saga but it needed maintenance I spent over 20k now already
That's amazing sadly newer models are not available here.

Can I know what terms are being used here? Should I get Turbo version of Exora?
