Boo .. My order from Expansys is now stuck at customs. Have to apply for SIRIM Thinking whether to use FedEx runner or do it myself

Mine ordered via Lazada stuck at Pos Malaysia. They kept bouncing the package from KL HQ to KJ HQ for no reason. Worse postal company ever on Earth!

why need SIRIM ?

It's because it using bluetooth ?

If you do it yourself, RM100 + some petrol money + time.
If you do by FedEx? Prepared another RM150-RM200 for Runner Fees. + RM100 SIRIM.

Bluetooth device are require SIRIM if get held up at Kastam.

thats weird.many of us have got the units from overseas, no problem with the Customs.

I have just got my update to 5.0.1. I reset the device and less than 30 minutes after that, it shows me that the download for the new update is complete and i can install the new update. maybe you guys can try that too

Any recommended place for metal straps? I want to keep the original leather.

In MY, most watch shops don't sell metal straps separately due to low demand. You can buy direct from ebay MY, got tonnes of beautiful black metal straps that can complement the GWR nicely....

DIY better, fedex too expensive, no point to pay few hundreds to get a less than 1k stuff.

call pos and collect yourself, this is what i do when it arrives malaysia and bouching here and there

Phone don't have to be on Android Lollipop for watch to be on 5.0.1. I confirmed from reliable sources.

Because at the end, Android Wear is always advertised as for Android 4.3 and above.

Agree, my gwr already on lollipop while my n4 still on kitkat.

damn it, just get an email from expansys today and they telling me that :

'Any order that is of large value may attract Customs Duty of about 5%
or more of the total cost of the item including the shipping.

The courier company will contact you regarding collection of such
duty (if any) before they can release the parcel.

i was informed of that too.
also, they requested for proof of billing address.
and were informed my amex seem cant be accepted. (not sure typo or not)

lastly, the price is RM905 as per the webpage now.

overall, tension overloaded.

I also collected mine from the post office this morning. Ordered from Lazada. Waited almost 17 days. Delays due to Pos Malaysia.
