new player here... but stuck at 43% when patching

i'm downloading this game.. i heard there is a bad lag issue here post date mid 2006.. since now it's 2007, has it fix the lag? or is it true rumors that gpotato hosted game is lag =D

it is lag bcoz it is international lag n the server is not located at malaysia/singapore...so when we play sure will lag a bit de especially in town

i played WoW and it doesn't lag somemore the server located at US... even RO lag while the server isn't really located in malaysia/singapore, but in taiwan...

you guys still playing?

ummm... i've tried this game, and compared to other mmorpg like WoW and Guildwar, this game graphic is laggy and not really that realistic...

my spec com is 256mb 7600gs pcie, amd64 3000+ with 1gb ram..
i've play other 3d games (WoW) at resolution 1280x1024 without any lag with full settings, but this game graphic is lag i dont know why.. the graphic isn't any better than wow..

or is there any trick that i didn't know of =D please any advice?

ya, the bloom effect is just a crap lol... i rather disable it to make it look more realistic. But sometimes tree is too annoying when we try to move the camera to find/fight monster.. i disable it too...

i only experience a lag when at town

oh and btw, i've collect all 6 cute pigs cards... after combine, i got some bbq.. how much can i sell that? (lack of money )

ya the glow effect disabled and everything return to so so lag =D ... anyway, i think the graphic programmer of this game isn't good... the details is still very grainy.. even with the glow effect on.. maybe it's still under developement, so we can't put much hope on it.. anyway wish it will become very good soon.. i like the damage pop up thing during fight.. ^^

Theres no way to avoid the graphical lag, its like the developers inherently build it in. In other words, if i was the boss of nflavor, i'd fire all the programmers working this game.

On another note, you guys play during daytime? so much lag/delay. Only gets better like after 12.. i swear those tmnet ppl should all be fired along with those programmers.

At last i get my first common pet ....... Thx to the 1 Day CS special package which selling 35 SS c/w 1 yeti card on 14/4/07.

On my first attempt getting common pet card, the tamer succesfully tamed the yeti for me. I guess thats my luckiest day when i see the tamer has failed for the person before me. The tamer is Tiga and he is the only one in Tortus server now having +5 taming card and it still 50%~ of success rate to tame common pet. Paying 750k rupee for successful tamed tho.

Anyway i've trade the yeti for lvl 36 orc + 30ss coz i like orc more.

How many ppl here has common pet can share your experience?

*** Before this i've try to farm orc for almost 3 weeks but not getting single orc card. From my calculation i'd kill roughly 8000 - 9000 orc already .

My new life begin with my new pet .

Well im raising a blue pixie now.. few more lvls and i can evo2 it. Got 3 more yeti cards in wh, havent decided to try tame or not. And no.. i didnt buy them from CS. Somehow i dont believe in those cards.

What your char job? breeder? dont u want to Overbreed your pixie?

I think i want to OB my orc to lvl 45 or 50 only coz i just too lazy to wait till 60.

Guess u're very lucky guy to have 3 yeti card empty coz i've talk to someone farming yeti only drop 1 card after years playing it. Do u farm yeti for it or just lucky droped from them on quest. Or otherwise bought it from others.

I just realise common pet taking longer time to raise than basic pet.

No im fighter archer, thats why using blue pixie..for the heals. Yeah guess im lucky, i actually picked 4 yeti cards farming..sold one off. Anyway you're lucky too..tamed a yeti on first try. I know of many who actually bought 3-4 packages from CS and failed..thats like hundreds down the drain. I wont OB my pixie, since i dont find it particularly useful..maybe I will only OB at evo2.

But for melee pets, yeah OBing on 1st evo has its benefits. But from what i see, obing at evo2 has more benefits..so if it was me, i'd be lazy to ob at 1st evo. Unless you're a breeder or spellsinger, obing is an arduous task. I dont think there are diff in lvling of common/basic pets. It depends on the person itself because the pet gets 10% of whatever xp the owner gets. I got my pixie to lv 32 in 6 days. Not particularly fast, but faster than i did when i was raising a poultry back when i was lvl 40-50. If i was say, lv 80 now.. im sure i can get to lv32 in 3-4 days since you get more xp in CV than LM.

You know what, i was to the point of quitting already. Then easter event came and i was like ok..quit after the event. And voila, got the drops..so continue playing for now

I dunno for other common pet passive skill, but this is my found base on my pets. I have lvl36 evo1 pantera & lvl37 evo1 orc,

Pantera
At lvl36, it has lvl24 exp aqquisition rate max

Orc
At lvl37, it has only lvl16 exp aqquisition rate max

So i guess it will take more time to raise my orc compare to my pantera.

BTW, im a breeder lvl42 play in Tortus. What server are u on Splitz?
