Hello to Everyone, the LATEST NEW BETA of uTorrent has Protocol Encryption. Has anyone tried it yet ?

To Enable Protocol Encryption goto :

Options -> Preferences -> BitTorrent -> Protocol Encryption (Set to = Forced)

I guess.
But still dunno how to use the WEBUi.

This crap:

HOW TO USE THE WEBUI
--------------------

* Enable and configure the WebUI in µTorrent (Preferences -> Advanced -> WebUI)
* Open up a supported browser and use the following URL format
* http://YourIP:UTport/gui/index.html
* If the browser supports Username:Password (and you have got the WebUI working with the first URL) then use the following URL format
* http://Username:Password@YourIP:UTport/gui/index.html

Seriously?

HOW TO USE THE WEBUI
--------------------

* Enable and configure the WebUI in µTorrent (Preferences -> Advanced -> WebUI)
This should be self-explanatory
* Open up a supported browser (IE6 not supported) and use the following URL format
* http://YourIP:UTport/gui/index.html
- Replace YourIP with your pc's IP
- Replace UTport with the port you use for uTorrent
- For example, http://localhost:6669/gui/index.html

* If the browser supports Username:Password (and you have got the WebUI working with the first URL) then use the following URL format
* http://Username:Password@YourIP:UTport/gui/index.html

And make sure to put webui.zip (DON'T EXTRACT IT) where your utorrent settings.dat is located. Usually it's at:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\uTorrent

It's so damn complicated.

1st install the 1.6 474.
Then download this webui_v0.310_beta_2.
Inside it there's the webui.zip and utorrent-1.6.1-beta-build-482.

Copy the webui in the %AppData%\uTorrent.
Then only use the utorrent-1.6.1-beta-build-482 to launch uTorrent.

If you launch the 474...there's no webui section.
In 482 there is.

Done it.
It showing my downloading in a browser.
Correct?

Still slow.
I don't have to launch the application is it?
Just the browser?
Such a noob.

if you don't need remote access to your client, you don't have to use WebUI

just use the client.

Latest: 1.6.1 Build 483 (Client only)

Changelog (posted in the µTorrent forums):
QUOTE
483 should solve most of the loading freezing issues people are having. If people are still having them after upgrading to 483 then please come into #utorrent-webui so we can get some info from u.

Oh and before people inevitably start asking for a changelog, this is all your gonna get:

Ctrl+F12 crash feature taken out
Category list custom label bug fixed
Cache header bug fixed
Guest redirect improved

Having started the client, then the WebUI, can we now shutdown the client with only the WebUI running? Is this possible to only run the WebUI without the client running?

Thanks.
