the click wheel and sleek design for ipod nano...i dunt like the new one that made from aluminium..
bside that...of cuz is the sound quality~

most of the ipod users will say "Click Wheel"..to me..the same thing. Also, easy to use, quite user friendly..

for the latest ipod nano, tiny and cool...i like the case so much...

I would buy an Ipod if it wasn't for lousy high tax on "entertainment devices".
The reason why most foreigner able to afford an or couples of Ipods because it

The sound quality is not a reason for you to get your iPod, it has average sound quality... not that satisfying but still can live with it. Love the sleek iPod Nano design and the ease of use, Click Wheel complete my live with iPod!

so bought a 2nd hand ipod set
dont like the creative design
so just bought an ipod

Creative tried to interrupt with Apple by saying that Apple had stole their GUI ideas for their MP3 players. It's Apple's design, infact they stole the idea and fire back Apple.

Creative and Apple Sound Quality are almost the same...my opinion la..now im using creative...wanna get ipod video and nano...

Gonna get the 2G Shuffle. Like Steve said, 'Its the smallest mp3 in the world.' Gonna use it for all my daily outdoor needs, blading and stuff. That will be my 1st Ipod...

I was thinkin of gettin the Ipod Video but the Zune is really way better in spec... so for now Zune is in 1st place.. until they got out a NEW Ipod Video which i think is next yr or so... so till then Zune will be my choice...

1. Creative sucks
I bought their so-called cheap SoundBlaster card , and it comes with bloatware. I think the Player also comes with bloatware and crapwares that I dont need. I dont use WMA [you call WMA a format...A pure-rip off of MP3....].
Their buttons , ewww....it looks soo cheap

2. Mac Support
iPod and Mac , they bond together. You can do thousands of things. Use it as a HDD , even use it as a 'spare hard disk'. Thats the beauty of it

3. Solid Design
Anyone tried dropping the CREATIVE Zune or MP3 Player 50x. With iPod , I know its safe , I have even seen a video on that...

Other then that , an iPod is an iPod

These are the reasons why i'm gonna get myself an iPod video.

1. iPod's sexy. period.
2. it turn heads.. an ego booster if i may say. (this is not that big a point. chicks digg me even if i don't have iPod in my hands. )
3. the clickwheel allows me to navigate through my songs VERY quickly
4. bright and beautiful LCD display
5. sleek & user friendly menu
6. it's a portable HDD.

i never own any apple products except for quicktime and itunes. however, i have had the opportunity to test-drive a friend's ipod video 30GB, and i totally fell for it! so in a week or so, i'm gonna be a proud owner of one!

well..they are always suing each other, but creative recently did won the patent lawsuit over apple

i was choosing between zen vision and ipod video...still ended up with ipod coz i can't stand anything with horrible design...it's my nature...i'm a designer..

I'm going to have to disagree with you here. Mac support is great, but perhaps you're stressing the strong points of the iPod too much. They aren't even iPod-unique. The Creative players can also be used as a removable harddrive. Sure, you can use the iPod for reading some quick notes, but transferring notes on is more of a hassle than it should be. Creative MP3 players allow you to make and rename playlists on the go, allow searching through text entry, and navigation with a large music library is a breeze - you can browse through artists and albums by letter. Apple has borrowed some Creative features in the iPod.

Dropping any HDD based player is not going to end well. A small correction - Creative doesn't make the Zune. The Zune is Microsoft's answer to Apple's iPod and has not yet been released. If you're willing to drop your iPod 50 times, perhaps I'll believe it. No one complains so much about the Creative MP3 players being scratched up beyond recognition. Apple had to deal with a lawsuit regarding the iPod Nano's.. lack of durability.

The iPod's a decent MP3 player and the design isn't bad. That's all.

Well , I do agree that Creative has its own 'kicks as well'. But the overall layout puts people down. and I am a strong supporter of iPod ,because it just works.

Apple paid Creative 10 million plus I think to settle the matters btw them... US dollar of course

It's the best out there... hands down... ease of use, etc... syncs seamlessly with iTunes (love iTunes btw)... works with both mac or windows... the best looking one out there...

For me, iPod got it looks and the ease of use. The strong bond between iPod and iTunes made so in love with it.

I saw the Zune in lyn homepage . It is completely nice than Ipod Video , because it can put background and the design is more beautiful than Ipod Video . Anyway i bought my Ipod Video few days ago .

I prefer the iPod's design over the Zune, actually. Microsoft hasn't released detailed specs (battery life?) or an estimated price. Creative MP3 players have allowed users to set backgrounds

Now this is me talking - I choose to believe that there's ALWAYS the good and bad side of everything. Yes, even iPod. It's just the matter of weighing your choices and considering the different factors at hand. it's also good to bear in mind that the iPod you're buying is for you to USE, not DISPLAY. your friends will only marvel at your latest gadget for a couple of weeks, then the 'wow-effect' simply wears off. so choose wisely. as for zune, i think it's just another MP3 player worth checking out. but it's too early to say it's ultimately better or worse than anything else.

well...mainly about the user friendly...i just tried my friend's for a couple of minutes and i cope it all...2nd is because it's linked with iTunes...3rd is design and finally is it's accesories...just can't stop loving my iPod...

i bought ipod because of it's functionality and it's quality...

i find apple's service is good... if u find that ur ipod abit sot sot... they will replace the ipod with no question asked... and the best thing is... they giv u a new unit and only takes one week...

i bought ipod also because i could transfer photos from my digicam to the ipod for temporary storage during travelling... and it's also a music player which keep me company during boring hours of the day...

another of the reason also because of it's technology and the accesorries available for it... i find apple's design very impressive and i will keep on supporting them if their quality improves or stay the same!

and lastly... it's coolness!!!!
