this game reminds me so much of RDR, another of my fav game

ride horse around, admiring the awesome scenery
hunt some animals/monsters, pick some herbs
kill some outlaws while saving some random peasants in distress
and watching the awesome sunrise/sunset

I'm officially hooked
and will solely play this only for next few weeks

I finished up all the ? marks and notice boards and any side quests in White Orchard 1st before tackling the main quest

but in doing so I missed out a few minor plot, like talking to the Herbalist since I already had a few of the buckthorns in my inventory
Can't talk to the tracker as part of the main quest as well as I discovered the Griffin nest much earlier while exploring.

Just reach Temeria, saw the first pair of boobies , but no shagging yet
Now alternating between main and sub quests, hopefully I won't missed anything again

yeah, everyday I was checking for update b4 launching Witcher

easily get overweight now due to carrying few relic items

and very few vendors has enuf money to buy off my animal skins

urm... for the skill upgrades, we need to equip them to take effect, right?

patch 1.07 is still another week or 2 away, this is the pain for console players
the patch need to go thru the strict QC/QA of MS/Sony 1st before it can be released thru them,
unlike PC, CDPR can just directly release to the players.

Anyway... got hooked on Gwent after braving a few rounds
no I'm playing Gwent as 1st choice with every tom dick & harry I came across

actually, no grinding needed
just take the quests that's within your level, you'll level up pretty fast in no time
just need crafting mostly the oils to make fights easier, but it's not compulsory

till now, I still haven't crafted any weapons/armors from the smith, cos the weapons/armors I found in the wild are much better

I've killed many stronger enemies using mind control only
killed a Lv24 grave hag while I'm Lv12 only
mind control, chop chop chop, back up, mind control, chop chop chop
rinse n repeat

group of strong bandits/monsters? mind control 1 of them from afar, stand back and watch them kill each other
rinse and repeat till last one standing

almost 80 hours into the game
haven't reach Skillege yet, still loitering leisurely in Novigrad

but no problem killing any werewolf I've encountered so far
only quest related one?

latest patch said it fixed the Zoltan gwent card, any idea what's it about?

I missed it from White Orchard, and the scholar is not there anymore, merchant that I rescued also don't have it.
any idea how I get it after the patch?

ooh.. under the hang man tree, no wonder couldn't find it
still a long way to go for that achievement, haven't go to skelige yet
last night gang ho go try the High Stake quest since I've won all my previous gwent games easily
who knows, kena owned kau-kau many times by the farmer
his damn spy deck are super annoying

yeah, then he will decoy back the spy card you decoyed from him and spy back at you again

me also can't progress Skellige Most Wanted quest due to the damn werewolf bug
I only started the quest after 1.08 patch, still bugged

i think there's no way to avoid the fight, either you fight the werewolf only or fight them all
correct me if I'm wrong

not bad is an understatement

it's definitely a GOTY in my book
