Thanks for the replies guys, really appreciate it smile.gif.

When I received the phone, I sync-ed with Google & Samsung, installed Instagram & Waze, then later at night I experienced application crashes. I decided to try factory reset on day 2 and after that, the phone keep on crashing even at the welcome screen. Took the phone to Samsung service center at One Utama today, they tried to flash to old and new firmware but the issue still persists. I was given 2 options, immediate replacement of motherboard OR wait for 1 week for them to send the phone to HQ and get a brand new replacement unit. I opted for option 2 and was given a courtesy phone.

Apparently the person on my right was experiencing the same problem and requested for a new phone too. The person on my left was using the same phone too and his charger was faulty, was given replacement on the spot.

So far OU service center has replaced 4 units of Note 4. Other issues are normally resolved with firmware re-flash.

I somehow regret with my purchase but was very impressed with a lot of new functions on the Note 4. Hopefully the replacement unit can serve me for 2/3 years  sweat.gif

I notice the note 4 is yellowish hue when in full brightness compared to lg g2. Why is this? Defective?
*
it's because this generation amoled using diamond pixel which is have 3 times more green pixel than other red and blue pixel,*even other amoled have bigger green pixel or more green pixel, that's common on amoled,so most amoled device is with warmer colour tone or what u call yellowish*
beside note 2 and s2 amoled plus that using rgb line up will shown colder color.
common lcd white colour because the led white light as base.

I know this has been asked several times before
Is art and dalvik any different in daily use?
Any significant improvement on battery life or any changes?
For 4.4.4. i mean
*
android 4.4 already 50/50 art & dalvik, there's not huge different in between.
even you now switch to ART maybe just 5~10% different in real life which is you won't notice.
i been using dalvik for the 1st month, art for last month until today still did not notice a huge different.
Ram usage almost the same,Battery life improved around 5% which is extra 30mins SOT for daily usage,
but overall nothing much different.
*papago m11 not functioning in ART mode which is kind of annoying*

White background with black text is easier to read when it's under a bright or good lighting condition while most of the LCD is white LED base and it won't make your eye blur after a long starring during day or bright condition.
Black background with white text also not too bad to read but you will get blurry eye after starring for some times,
but it's good if you're reading at night or darker condition.
Since amoled is special cause black does not active at all,so black back with white text is better for amoled since it don't light up whole panel to confuse your eye sight focus.

Simple test: try starring or finish reading this with ur room light on,then look at your wall or somewhere bright
it will make your eye blur for some times.
*read on lcd ofcause since amoled doesn't produce light on black pixel*
the status actually reverse when u read forum text in dark room and after starring for some moments,
off your monitor.

there's some apps running background while you're sleeping or not using it.
found out what apps was that and adjust the setting or disable it.
if want to know which apps were that,do a full charge and unplug it,
do not touch the phone for an hours!!
*if you really have no times,at least 10 mins or more since the apps not hyperactive type*
after an hours go to battery management check the list,
then u will see the battery hunger monster, then it's ur right to chop it out or tame it.
below were my result on casual usage.

wow..zenfone 2 lowlight and HDR mode seems better than note 4
*
but if you want to capture low light photo, the pixel will shrink into 3mp only.
theory were like other side of oppo ultra hd picture.
oppo make 13mp > 50mp for sharper image
asus make 13mp > 3mp for low light
if both were base on software, which mean there must be some apps can do in the future too. biggrin.gif
unlike nokia pureview or htc ultrapixel that need base on hardware.
