Thanks for the replies guys, really appreciate it
.
When I received the phone, I sync-ed with Google & Samsung, installed Instagram & Waze, then later at night I experienced application crashes. I decided to try factory reset on day 2 and after that, the phone keep on crashing even at the welcome screen. Took the phone to Samsung service center at One Utama today, they tried to flash to old and new firmware but the issue still persists. I was given 2 options, immediate replacement of motherboard OR wait for 1 week for them to send the phone to HQ and get a brand new replacement unit. I opted for option 2 and was given a courtesy phone.
Apparently the person on my right was experiencing the same problem and requested for a new phone too. The person on my left was using the same phone too and his charger was faulty, was given replacement on the spot.
So far OU service center has replaced 4 units of Note 4. Other issues are normally resolved with firmware re-flash.
I somehow regret with my purchase but was very impressed with a lot of new functions on the Note 4. Hopefully the replacement unit can serve me for 2/3 years
