I'm having the same problem as you. Using Verus Iron Shield. Read at XDA it's not because of the case itself but because of the design of the chamfered edges of Note 4  . So, I just keep it using it since have no other choice. I don't like flip case or soft jelly/TPU case.

I'm using the spigen neo hybrid casing. Sadly the edges r prone to scratches jus like the HTC one m8 which I've used b4. It's nice but scratches to easily. Wonder anyway to paint it. Lol. I work in automotive line so gotta use tougher casing. Lol. If not phone damaged long time ago

If you found a solution, please do share it  thinking of putting protective layer on the edges if possible.

• Pressing the power button also showing the time with animation.
  
• When charging showing battery with % indicator.

• All notification is preset and cannot modified or control as no apps bundle with it.

Updated to the latest firmware yesterday. This morning have some Wifi Issue. Even it shows connected to wifi but my apps cant run it online... Wechat/Whatsapp hardly connected. 3g/LTE seems disconnected also. Need restart my phone only can it can function properly.

About phone reception on my Note 4 near Kepong Area(Desa Park & Villa Manja), and Setia Eco Park, I change my telco from U Mobile to Maxis One Plan, and problem solved. In my house, usually have no bar, now have 1 or 2 bars, random, which I can still pick up some calls.

After using the Note 4 for more than 2 months already, so far so good. Camera is definitely a PLUS+. Call quality is OK for me, sound quality, definitely better than Note 3 and comparing to Note 2, I prefer Note 4 still. Used SPen and SNote a lot for my work  SUPER USEFUL. Battery life, seems ok to me after comparing with my old Note 2 which already aged 2+. Charing speed is a bit too fast... Seems too hard to believe that is it really fully charged???? Battery life is up and down for me, due to leaving my phone unplug and use it out door a lot together with power bank. Last about 7-9 hours usage(10+ phone calls, Web Browsing, Camera, Supercell games & Messenging) Sometimes feels like the battery is bad, maybe bcoz of the updates?

I hate the aluminium frame. I got it since release, that time got no Spigen case, only cheapo case and Sammy 1, so decided to wait. Then, got micro scratches at aluminium frame, DANG. Now I'm using Spigen Neo Hybrid Case, 2 thumbs UP! 

I give Note 4 8.6/10.

Nice review, really looks cool. But since I seem to be hooked on several games on the phone, a flip case may not be so comfortable to hold horizontally for long stretches.

anyway i'm still happy with my cheapo rm5 tpu case ...it really does provide solid overall protection and feel good on touch too
