you should have bought a component set for your front speaker...meaning speaker, tweeter and crossover... and because ur driving a wira 6.5" (usually they sell it as 6") should be used...

if you don't intend to put in a woofer, the 6x9 at the back would be adequate, however all speakers should be powered up by an amp...a 4 channel amp would be good..doesn't have to be high watts...around 300-500watts is enough since the max watt for your speaker is around 300-350watts...i guess you can get a decent one for around rm400-600

boschmann is a good brand so no worries..pioneer is pretty good too but they are quite new in producing speakers isn't it?

one of the member here, howiechoo, provides all this services...why dont you try looking up for him the garage sales section

suggest u to save a bit more
around rm600 for a better HU

by then power up ur speakers with ur HU
when u got the budget only get an amp wink.gif

agree...

a better HU would produce a better sound...and no need some said, IT IS better to power up your speakers with an amp but since you're on a budget just go with the flow first...

don't just splurge on everything..upgrade slowly..

i started off with brother's tweeter and 5" 2-way also for my front and a BM 6x9 behind...slowly i upgraded to 6" Mohawk components in front and kicker 6x9 behind...then a couple of months later i added one 12" sub powered by a 500w mohican amp but i found it too loud so i changed to 10"..then only i added a 300w amp to power up my components...

i have an amp for sale if you want...used less than a month 2 channel 1000w Saga amp for around RM250 bought around RM380...installation would cost you around RM100-150...but not i install la...

i would prefer to say that these are more like budget-concious HUs smile.gif ...meaning if u dont have much moolah but still want to change something better then stock HU, then go for it... yawn.gif

no offence to brothers.... tongue.gif  laugh.gif

i guess he's saying "EQ"  whistling.gif
the kenwood HU is entry level HU
the EQ is not very advance
not bad for beginners
can give it a try

agree...among the entry level HU i feel that kenwood provide one of the best producing sound compared to the other entry level HUs...

pre-amp...uhh...seriously don't waste ur money on it...

just remember...get a HU, when you have the money, with 2 pre-outs

hi guyz...already install kenwood 4029g hu as some said kenwood is good one n oso already add pioneer tweeter . but, the chi guy who install all d things said my front speaker is boschmann 2way is not suitable as i install pioneer tweeter n he said sounds less bass or bass lari . i dunno wheter izzit true but so far i think oklar.
so , izzit true front speaker should get single n not 2way n izzit bcoz i add tweeter sounds not good . so far i think front speaker mostly 2 way n some got 3way...

any ideas???

seriously i also not very knowledgeable in ICE but I think its quite true when he said do not use a 2-way or 3-way speaker...that is because you already have a tweeter in front....

if i'm not wrong a 2-way and 3-way speaker actually plays the sound of the tweeter and mid range/voice...therefore if you already have a tweeter you should not put the 2-way/3-way as the high notes now would be very very audible..and again you should have just kept you money until you can afford a component set instead of buying the pioneer tweeter...

if you're on a shoe string budget you should try using Uncle Sam component set...not too bad..why i keep saying that is because a component set comes with crossovers...a crossover would help you filter out which speaker should play what sound...a component set would include a tweeter, mid bass driver and crossovers...the crossover would filter out the high notes to the tweeter, the mid bass/voice sounds to the speaker..now with ur setup all sound would just come out thru the tweeter and speaker therefore producing sounds that are not so concentrated..
