HI

I'm owned wira aeroback and just upgraded my car speakers. Act , for back speaker i bought Pioneer 4 way 350watt 6x9 (TSA6980S) and for front speaker i bought Boschmann Gunmetal 300watt 2way(G-6532S). n i plans to change my cassette player with pioneer deh-1850mp(budget one) bcoz my budget to buy cd player is around 2 hundred something. so for all members out there who very expert in ICE , can recommend or give any ideas/comments abt my audio speakers ???

you should have bought a component set for your front speaker...meaning speaker, tweeter and crossover... and because ur driving a wira 6.5" (usually they sell it as 6") should be used...

if you don't intend to put in a woofer, the 6x9 at the back would be adequate, however all speakers should be powered up by an amp...a 4 channel amp would be good..doesn't have to be high watts...around 300-500watts is enough since the max watt for your speaker is around 300-350watts...i guess you can get a decent one for around rm400-600

boschmann is a good brand so no worries..pioneer is pretty good too but they are quite new in producing speakers isn't it?

one of the member here, howiechoo, provides all this services...why dont you try looking up for him the garage sales section

I can't comment more since you budget upgrade!
The main ideal: are you satisfy with yours ICE?
If statisfy it, everything gonna be alright!

agree...

a better HU would produce a better sound...and no need some said, IT IS better to power up your speakers with an amp but since you're on a budget just go with the flow first...

don't just splurge on everything..upgrade slowly..

i started off with brother's tweeter and 5" 2-way also for my front and a BM 6x9 behind...slowly i upgraded to 6" Mohawk components in front and kicker 6x9 behind...then a couple of months later i added one 12" sub powered by a 500w mohican amp but i found it too loud so i changed to 10"..then only i added a 300w amp to power up my components...

i have an amp for sale if you want...used less than a month 2 channel 1000w Saga amp for around RM250 bought around RM380...installation would cost you around RM100-150...but not i install la...

no experience wif kenwood.. soli.. can't help out..

if u r planning to go for more ICE as in adding woofer and others... try getting those wif 3 pre-out.. (1xfront, 1xrear, 1xwoofer).. save u more for further upgrades.. is not 3 then at least 2 pre-out

sorry, fren.. those common common brand such as JVC, Panasonic, Sony ... etc don realli gif wat u said SQ..

in ICE, this brands r like NORMAL and it is for budget players.. SQ players go for ALPINE, ECLIPSE, PIONEER (8000 series & above), CLARION (HX D2) and a few more...
these few brands r widely use..

the preamp that u said is it the equalizer thingy that is often seen in taxis? if it is, forget it.. brothers there always recomend this kind of stuffs for their customers who does not satisfied wif their current setups (customers who they r hooked wif).. hope u r not 1 of 'em smile.gif

agree...among the entry level HU i feel that kenwood provide one of the best producing sound compared to the other entry level HUs...

pre-amp...uhh...seriously don't waste ur money on it...

just remember...get a HU, when you have the money, with 2 pre-outs

hi guyz...already install kenwood 4029g hu as some said kenwood is good one n oso already add pioneer tweeter . but, the chi guy who install all d things said my front speaker is boschmann 2way is not suitable as i install pioneer tweeter n he said sounds less bass or bass lari . i dunno wheter izzit true but so far i think oklar.
so , izzit true front speaker should get single n not 2way n izzit bcoz i add tweeter sounds not good . so far i think front speaker mostly 2 way n some got 3way...
