HI
I'm owned wira aeroback and just upgraded my car speakers. Act , for back speaker i bought Pioneer 4 way 350watt 6x9 (TSA6980S) and for front speaker i bought Boschmann Gunmetal 300watt 2way(G-6532S). n i plans to change my cassette player with pioneer deh-1850mp(budget one) bcoz my budget to buy cd player is around 2 hundred something. so for all members out there who very expert in ICE , can recommend or give any ideas/comments abt my audio speakers ???

you should have bought a component set for your front speaker...meaning speaker, tweeter and crossover... and because ur driving a wira 6.5" (usually they sell it as 6") should be used...
if you don't intend to put in a woofer, the 6x9 at the back would be adequate, however all speakers should be powered up by an amp...a 4 channel amp would be good..doesn't have to be high watts...around 300-500watts is enough since the max watt for your speaker is around 300-350watts...i guess you can get a decent one for around rm400-600
boschmann is a good brand so no worries..pioneer is pretty good too but they are quite new in producing speakers isn't it?
one of the member here, howiechoo, provides all this services...why dont you try looking up for him the garage sales section

I can't comment more since you budget upgrade! The main ideal: are you satisfy with yours ICE? If statisfy it, everything gonna be alright!

sorry, fren.. those common common brand such as JVC, Panasonic, Sony ... etc don realli gif wat u said SQ.. in ICE, this brands r like NORMAL and it is for budget players.. SQ players go for ALPINE, ECLIPSE, PIONEER (8000 series & above), CLARION (HX D2) and a few more... these few brands r widely use.. the preamp that u said is it the equalizer thingy that is often seen in taxis? if it is, forget it.. brothers there always recomend this kind of stuffs for their customers who does not satisfied wif their current setups (customers who they r hooked wif).. hope u r not 1 of 'em
