Reflection
The concept of reflection is a basic physics phenomena. The Law of Reflection states that 'the waves will always reflect in such a way that the angle at which they approach the barrier equals the angle at which they reflect off the barrier'. The following example represents similar proportion of how an effort shapes results. One may invest less or one may invest more; what matters most are always the results. The dirty society now reflects on such scenario where only results matter most regardless of effort. What truly defines oneself? Worth, value, intelligence, personality or etc? Many may argue on the same page or even on the higher norm (as proclaimed). However, how reflective have you been with my issue?

Refraction
There comes a time where barriers are set as disturbance towards moving waters. This phenomenon is highly regarded as refraction where a change in the direction of waves as they pass from one medium to another. One may experience change when their intelligence succumb from shallow areas into deep experiences. The waves are faster in deeper medium while the latter represents the shallow medium. Are you in the deeper or the shallow one? Are you understanding my passage so far? How sure are you?

Diffraction
In this third passage, diffraction involves a change in direction of waves as they pass through an opening or around a barrier in their path. If you are smart, you would understand this by now.

The reflectance of first passage shows the way one think on the issue presented. The choice of questions invoke necessary thinking in such as way that the questions reflect the answers. The second passage refracts a barrier of mind state where the author further question the reader about understanding. The barrier set by the author is on reflectance of such readers in their false-pretense egoistic understanding. The answer is simple, reread the passage once again. The third passage clearly defines the answer.

Non-related: If you have read this, do tell me what you think about this. Compliments and insults will be entertained. Thank you.
