QUOTE(Slowpokeking @ Nov 24 2014, 02:26 PM) Hi guys, how do you go about the tinting rules in regards about the above mentioned information? | Windows | City Native VLT(A) | JPJ Compliant VLT(B) | Lowest VLT Allowed(B/A) | | Front Windshield | 88% | 70% | 79% | | Front Side Windows | 94% | 50% | 53% | | Back Side Windows | 94% | 30% | 32% | | Rear Windshield | 88% | 30% | 34% |
Based on the above information, most front shield tinting film must be 80% in order to be JPJ compliant. However none of the tints on the market meets the specific requirement. Hence should I go forward to tint the car and pray it'll get passed should there's roadblock? Or wait till the tinting specialist produce new tints that meet the requirement? Thanks. Yep. All failed. Just pray it's not you who get stopped. If you get stopped. Means kena liao. Even my Llumar tint, i believe also failed. Polis nak cari makan yo.... QUOTE(cheewui @ Nov 25 2014, 09:35 PM) my SA offer free tinted worth 1.2k... the brand is Muses 65 - 4mil (100 micron)... i'm wondering what brand is this... i can't find in internet... is IRR 65% worth 1.2k? i'm in dilemma whether to tint outside or accept their free tint... another SA offer 800 rebate instead of free tint... which one more worth ah? advise? Scam...OEM brand...i tint Llumar T450, only RM800 by SA. IRR 90% me thinks. At least Llumar is branded well known brand. Can't go wrong.

QUOTE(frozz@holic @ Nov 27 2014, 05:04 PM) SN 0W-20 is good for Honda City already (if you going for fully synthetic) but if you want performance go for the SN 0W-30. I am planning to go for the SN 0W-30 fully synthetic engine oil on my 10k service. Do it at Kah Motors SC for a 25% Discount off the retail price as oppose to others which only gives 15% discount. Price of the various engine oil SN 10W-30 Mineral (4L) –> RM 91.76 SN 5W-30 Semi synthetic (4L) –> RM 127.06 SN 0W-20 Fully synthetic (4L) –> RM 150.59 SN 0W-30 Fully synthetic (4L) –> 232.94 Wonder why the huge price difference between 0W-20 and 0W-30. I will definitely use 0W-20 when the 10k service comes in January. This is very cheap for full synth oil. And the trend is going for lower viscocity oil (with new SN standard actually giving more protection then before) and better FC. I think the 0W20 is cheap...you will find full synth engine oil more expensive at Proton SC with their Shell/Petronas brands.

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Nov 27 2014, 01:12 PM) Does anybody here hears the same mechanical noise that happens at 40km/h at slightly above 60km/h too? Nope. Only at 40km/h and 1 time only after car car startup.

QUOTE(frozz@holic @ Nov 29 2014, 02:08 AM) they sacrifice performance for FC with this new SN engine oil so for those who want or going towards better FC the 0W20 will suffix. I am more for performance and would love to insert those outside but sadly it will affect the damn warranty so will take the 0W30 engine oil for performance. After a 25% discount the price is quite reasonable and for those who will be doing your service within the month of December will enjoy even more discount. check out honda website for more details. i saw they are also giving "mysterious gift" too. I think the new SN 0W20 is better than older standard 0W30. For "performance", thinner oil better mah, less resistance=more power output. Anyway, City not racing car...no need racing oil.... you can ask Quazacolt about this. He is the god of engine-oil...LOL.

QUOTE(kianchun555 @ Dec 9 2014, 09:24 PM) So far no aftermarket product for that. If you really need the cruise function (always on highway), more airbags & can afford the V. Go ahead. I think 3rd party auto cruise still possible....i think I read some people did it for Inspira....but maybe need to find the right people....not so easy. Airbags better not lah...work or not also dunno...lol. Some auto-cruise parts for reference...but dun have for City... http://www.mudah.my/Malaysia/Cars-Accessor...0&w=3&so=1&st=sThis post has been edited by Matrix: Dec 10 2014, 12:27 PM

QUOTE(frozz@holic @ Dec 11 2014, 08:30 PM) that is normal ...someone mentioned before here that honda is notorious in replacing your missing parts by taking from another car be it new or not. the case one was a screw cap or something for mudguard. Anyway chan sow lin kah motors already have a few bad reviews from some customers here and the FB page, i recommend you try the kah motors SC in selayang or the puchong branch. they are better in terms of quality of service and PR. If you guys see this, why not take photos, write down all the details and car nos and report to Honda officially? Honda does not know if their dealers is up to no good if the customer doesn't report.

Being diriving my wife's city the last few days since wife took my fake Lancer go Singapork. Today drive on LDP with minimal jam and also Klang. Can get FC 20.xx to 21.xx km/l initially, later come back jam so drop to 16.xx km/l in total for over 100km distance drove. Godly FC wor. 21 km/l is possible if drive on highway between 80 to 100km/h. Can match Mirage and Axia claimed 21 km/l. This post has been edited by Matrix: Dec 21 2014, 06:24 PM

QUOTE(LGThan @ Dec 20 2014, 10:36 AM) Just went for first service today at Selayang and highlighted 3 problems as follows: 1. Car booth have to use force/slamp to close. 2. Aircond not cool 3. Got sound/vibration at the exhaust Answer from Service team-all City having same problem and Honda Malaysia working on it. Anyone of you having same problem? Kindly share your experience. 1) and 3) is not normal. Only 2) is normal. Minimal Fan set to 2, otherwise hardly any wind especially rear vent is opened. If nobody sitting behind, close the rear air cond vent.

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Dec 22 2014, 09:36 AM) You tak tahan panas is it? I find the aircond cool enough for me even though the fan's at 1. Drive alone most of the time anyway so the rear vents are closed. I think most owners here will agree the aircond not cool enuff. I am used to Proton air-cond standard. Even my old Sawi also colder than the city at same level.
