hi there....
why is the warranty is 6 months..but then u stated tat after 3 months rm50 will be charged for repair... i tot 3 months is within the warranty period??
one more thing here...
why is the time remaining is not stable? it drop quite fast but then will increase back slowly??
p.s: i got back my refilled batt from u few days ago...
Ya, correct after 3 months RM50 will be charged for repair, but don't worry, not even one people have pay this before, if this happen to you, you will be the first one being charge for RM50.
That is normal, Since Window Vista or maybe earlier, microsoft begin to count the remaining time not fully depending on battery ACPI, the time remain is calculating base on the speed of the percent drop, for example, if it have been drop 1% in 1 minite, there are still 99%, window will report approximate time remaining as 99minutes, this calculation give a better precision the longer the time the user use the notebook.
I usually download file with IE, I do not use tool like flashget or bit commet, I have notice that the download time is usually show longer than what it actually need, when it closed to 100% download, the time remain become more and more acurate. The same things happen on battery, microsoft usually show less remaining time that the battery actually last, but the more close you use it to 0%, the more accurate it will show you. When you have 100% charged battery, you are worrying about how long it last seem meaningless, because it can be vary from 2-4hours. Only when perhaps only you have 10% remaing or 10 minutes remain, it is important so that you can save and close your aplication or look for a power plug.
It have to be notice that, when you use a battery, sometime you draw more power because maybe you are watching video on youtube, then the percent drop faster, later you close the youtube window, the % drop slower, that is the factor that affect the time remaining. Even original battery user will experience this. The system power management just try to make your battery last more hours. The usage of a 6 cells battery normally vary from 2-4hours, depending on the user activity.
