I am using Vostro 1400 ... it is 6 Cell 56Whr Lithium Ion Primary Battery ... 95% kong meaning that i can use up to 30 mins without battery power.

Can repair, RM180. No problem, can recharge using third party adapter, as long as the power rating is equal or higher than your original adapter. Always set the voltage of the universal adapter to one same with your original unit to avoid hardware failure.
