Thanks for leaving feedback, normally refilled battery will work better than new pack, because new pack have been charged and tested at the factory(Cell been charged).

A cell that already been charged after it initial condition (zero cycle), usually may degrade faster than an unused before. As I put in a zero cycle cell into your battery, it will last longer than those have manufactured may be more than 1 years.

A pack also have >100x faster self discharge rate after it have been connected to circuitry inside the pack, just because some manufacturer didn't put the pack into "ship mode" after test it, an exhausted pack can also degrade faster.

If the cell is leave unconnected to anything, it self discharge rate is less than 5% in one years. Permanent lose of capacity is also very small, normally <5% per year.

There is however, demand toward cheaper battery pack is huge, as most people prefer to get a new pack.
