REALT my Dell Inspiron 640m's 6 cell battery ytr. Got it back today and now using it...
It's been two and a half hours already at max brightness, still hav 23% (44min) to go...
I would say it is very good! Will try recharging it again later. Thanks bro!

And btw, I hav a fren who is also interested. He has a Dell Inspiron 6400 6 cell batt. But his laptop can no longer detect the battery and there is no light on the batt indicator when pressed. Can it still be fixed? If it cannot be fixed, will there be any charges?

Dell Inspiron 6400, sound like a notebook problem, b'coz even battery fail it will still be detected. It is more likely notebook fail and battery power drain and enter sleep mode, as not power supply to the battery, the battery can not be detected!

Describe how it fail more in details, I will be able to confirm it. How many years have been used? how many hours it can still last before it fail?

P/S:

To buy a REALT battery, it is similar to that you go to restaurant and eat there freshly.

It was a sudden failure, the laptop suddenly shows the low battery signal and went into hibernation. It was at 40% a minute before this happened.
When he plugs in the AC adapter with the battery inserted, a message saying "Unable to communicate with battery" will appear. The same message would appear when this battery is inserted into another Dell Inspiron 6400.
Is the battery gone for good? Pls advice... Thanks! =)
