Me in Kuching. Recently suddenly dream to change a better case. So while I look around found a local shop import Raidmax products. But there are no Sagitta, but so nice that the shopkeeper tell me I can make a custom order. RM265 he give me. I think this is the same price with KL?

Actually there are some other cases like Aztec there (RM399), super style with the front alu cover. But too bad it abit out of my budget. I saved the extra money for some RAM instead... Duh sacrifice abit on the casing...

How I surprise to hear you guy say that, you there more expensive.... The RED+White not quite fit my taiste, so I ask the shopkeeper to get me a Black+Silver one...

I also saw Sirius here in Kuching... Ya the shop ROCK! They imported Sirius, Aztec, Scorpio, Sagitaurus, Ninja, Smilodon EXTREME BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I think it's ExtremeBlack version cuz the box there the picture is a casing with black cover and green lighting........ I'm sure it IS!!!!!)... They not open the box yet, I guess it just arrived.... They busy unpacking those newly arrived Acer PC instead during that day I go there.........

I suddenly think to change my order to the Smilodon........... +_+ But if I do, I will be IKAT PERUT for the next few weeks............. cry.gif

I ordered a Saggita, thought it comes with a PSU... But not o_o? Instead, it comes with 1 12cm LED fan, 1 8cm LED fan and a 12 cm FAN... Shit? I cut 'the wire' for the 2 LED fan cuz I don't need the LED (making UV mod).

Honestly I got something to kick at Raidmax. One is about the screws that hold the mobo tray. They just won't come out! It stuck there and finally i even grab my hammer........... (don't worry, I didn't damage the casing, haha!)

Second, the printing on the acrylic kinda not complete, some part missing and I need to fix it with... black tape or something.

It kinda make me minus some scores for Raidmax... -___-"

About the mobo tray... The Saggita model seems to be... abit tight. There are actually no space for you to hide any cables behind the mobo tray. So pretty pity I made myself a black board to put at the inner buttom to hide cables under it...

How you use your casing until it tercabut?
I only want to complaint about those molex they made, they are not very nice... hard to plug cuz the base holding the pins are not robust enough to keep them in place...

It really can't avoid that their casing have some minor flaws, so... might as well we spent time to fix them... DUH!! But still, who else produce casing such stylish than Raidmax? Ngeh Negh Ngeh...

We simply need to service the casing before use it. My Saggita also got many flaws, but eventually after I pull out the front panel (plate with with LEDs), I donno how to fix it back... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !! At the end I really going the hard-way force it in. My front panel looks abit weird cuz the middle plate (the one with 'SAGGITA' wording) do not align properly with the lower plate (the one with LEDs)...

You mneas those pair cables? Why don't you route them to the body of mobo then spin around to the back or buttom?

Nice lighting bro, and you... turned the acrylic over... Niec try, why I didn't figure that out? LOL!

Yeah, I do it later I get home XD... I also plan to re-make the front panel (the silver plates) using allu. So I can then make custom cutting, and also makes the front panel more interesting (well yes it abit dull).

But donno which damn-it-all-stupid-guy stole my allu (it very big piece one...) ... cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Also, I plan to cut a piece of the 'Z' with acrylic or some transparent material. Well you see below on my sig I put red backlit around it, and so it best I change it to transparent material as well... laugh.gif

For the last few days, I'd been trying to fix my HDD... donno what's wrong with it... Not very 'responsive'... It happened AFTER I make abit of cleaning in my casing... shakehead.gif

I flipped the acrylic over, sorry copy paste tongue.gif But still donno what to use to cover the fonts. With my printer dried, no matter what idea I got, they stayed in digital form... sad.gif

Pretty noisy I can say. So I dumped the stock cooling... But ah... Maybe the exhaust fan I shouldn't put on LED, too bright...

Attached Image

(oh ah, notice the missing 'Z'... fix that back later...)

Added on October 28, 2008, 1:01 pmAs for aireflow problem. As it they says:
Front input fan must less than rear exhause fan. So due to the air pressure, air sucks in more easilly. Note that the MOST HOTTEST parts in your PC was actually the PSU ...
My PC rated around 40 degrees. If you put your hand behind the blue exhause fan, you barely feel any hot air... But the PSU itself slightly hotter.

Note that AMD always colder than Intel, though. So if you Intel, better have a custom cooling kit. Of course, post on your pic so we can see what's wrong with your fans. maybe you place them at the wrong place and the air keep 'battle' each other... =p

QUOTE(mars @ Oct 29 2008, 08:42 PM)
bro, where did ya put the hd red led? u slot it behind the "Z" is it?
*
Not behind. But at the CORNER. I think theres a picture here. Notice there's 2 red LED at the corner. The reason I cover other area with black tape (sorry, no paint currently), cuz if not doing so, the red lights will pass throught the palstic.

Attached Image

Now cover up with something else so no BLUE light leak to the Z area !!

Attached Image

But... Blue light leak to Z area might be a NICE idea... hmm.gif Experiment later. Now... I don't really want to go buy those cable sleeving net things, I want to try something else... Now where the heck is the pile of transparent-tubes I used to hang outside my room... Someone steal it again !? Why everythings are missing when I need them most ?! sweat.gif

About the heat... AMD is lower than Intel anyway. Consider this : AMD run on lower clock speed to archieve Intel's clock speed. For example a 2600+ only run on 1.6GHZ, or 3000+ run on 1.8GHZ only. So logically in this factor, the heat already lower than Intel's RAW power. We cannot compare different generation of chips of course. So if you want to test, you gonna compare like, AM2+ with C2Q, or if older one, Socket 939/754 with P4. My friend use Intel Pentium D (desktop? I think he got the name wrong...) Where he complaint that he even need to use the desk fan (the big home use fan) to blow the PC... SHIT... Most Intel system also heat up so fast, where I used my friends PC or laptop... What... My PC was an old one, equal to the Pentium 4 Generation... You can hold the whole heatsink with your hand (while it running of course), but barely feel any heat... (urgh, Sempron)...

Honestly, the airflow of your casing really affects alot. Recently I fix my CPU with a new fan (the stock one so noisy), I check the temp, 45... OH NO! Up 5 degree... After make some fix around the casing, I manage to cool it down to about 38-40 degree. Where it back to normal... (of course, you need to run something stress before you test the temperature, I run some crazy 3D games which actually cannot be played cuz too lag before I check the temp..)

Ninja... I like the curvy design. But the MOST POPULAR casing of Raidmax was actually Scorpio 868 model. Because before Alienware use their own casing long long ago, they used up Raidmax casing as thier top gaming PC. I think it way long around 2003 maybe... forgot. I also see many scorpio (of different model and size) around, probably becaouse of it's cheap price and good looking... Well, I actually plan for a Scorpio as well many years back! It cost around RM260 about 3 or 4 yeas back. And yeah, I know Raidmax through their Scorpio casing, where I read alot of them in foreign game magazine when Alienware use them alot.

Why I talking so much................. sweat.gif

Currently saw some newer model from then, the Aztec. Nicely they now make the front panel with alluminium partly... But the price tag hold me back abit, around RM399 over here in Kuching. I saw it at shop, new arival, though wanna get that one, but finally saved the RM130 for a piece of RAM instead... whistling.gif

Fine, enough already... Gonan go home. doh.gif

Yup, PC Image is currently the only one bring lot's of great brands here, included CoolerMaster, Raidmax, and the top-cool Razer. But note that other shops also got, just that they don't got as many of them. Many shops selling Scorpio last time, and 3E also got a red Ninja (if you spot that, they hide it somewhere now... )

Urgh hei, a pair of NEON how much price? I bought with RM45, but my friend say at Boulevard Mall jusr RM 29... Oh shit...

Oh hei, PC Image also got the BLUE-TORPEDO !!!! Go get it and SHOOOTT... Urgh, watter cool your PC... Heeheehee

Anyone who like to get Coolermaster, Raidmax stuff included PSU, Watercooling, casing can go all the way to PCImage. But I ain't see Coolermaster Elite series around yet. Anyone see it in Kuching ?
