QUOTE(Someonesim @ Nov 22 2014, 01:09 PM) There's one lengthy method but it make sure no left over malware ( unless it's build into system ), by turn on encryption and then factory reset, it guaranteed wipe clean data but took sometime. Thanks bro. Seems too complicated to me. I restrain myself from doing banking activities using my mobile just to be safe.Viper4Android |

QUOTE(super_evil_alien @ Nov 30 2014, 01:24 AM) Oh, you're talking about the Samsung counter for the counter for the counter thingy? oh thanks for the quick answer.. yes i just read it that samsung have this counter and i thought it applied on all devices. Those things are usually to detect unlocked bootloader. I think some of the OEM do implement it. Samsung is 1 of the most famous 1 at it. But in Samsung case it can be removed. Other OEM I don't know. For devs friendly devices such as Nexus & 1+1 there's no root detector. You can easily restore the device to the stock if you have some factory image flashing knowledge. By the way i have seen you guys talking about rooting OPO, do you have any tool to unroot it, in case i want send it for warranty, OR if I want to sell it off,by performing factory reset or flashing will remove the root? |
