It was placed against some hard objects n all my previous cheap cases never get scratches or slight dents. I always placed phone same way against it
The original case is too soft n so easily gets slight dents

i dislike to put on case it makes it look bulky! i will just buy a swappable case if anything happens to the ori case.

I saw from google they use an earphone jack 3.5mm and a tool to remove the case. damn risky.

Once u drop your phone once or accidentally bump it on a hard surface then u will know how important is a case.

If u use naked I recommend getting a pouch to put it in when not in use.

Don't scare me la bro.. so far i never drop my phone.. smile.gif

Still cannot understand why you guys so crazy over this one+one
Is just a so ordinary phone to me
Only major advantage you have wide variety of kernel n roms to flash it : bought it primary just for this. But yet to find any serious goodness in lollipop n see no significant differences in varioius rom I had tested ( CM unofficial CM12, CM12, Euphoria, Candy ).
Using it only 2-3 hours/ day as secondary phone
*
benny what is your primary phone then?

I am not kinda rom flashing guy just felt OPO is worth the money thats why i get it.

QUOTE(mtxx @ Dec 17 2014, 11:37 PM)
Let me share my thoughts with u. I was hesitant about getting ap unit. All this while I bought original set, it feels safe to be covered by warranty. Thankfully out of the 3 android phones I own previously, all Samsung, I never had any hardware failure. I bought one ap Nexus 7 tablet. One of the first batch to get it unofficially in Malaysia. My tablet have speaker problem. I was devastated. Fortunately Asus accept international warranty and fixed mine foc  within a week. Strange because Asus always has a bad rep for service center.

Anyways, I understand the importance of having original unit and warranty. But so why would I still buy ap one plus? First is for the price. Second, if u got folo one plus quite closely. U will notice there are 2 main groups. The majority are happy with it and are total fan boys, who can blame them? The phone itself is cheap and good, both hardware and software. But for the people who hate oneplus. Only got one thing in common. Warranty claim issue.

Every single complain about one plus is always about warranty claim. Any news about oneplus the comment section sure got people complain warranty claim. And their non existent customer service.

Which makes me think. They are new company. Lack of man power. Sell also sell near cost price. Barely making money. Every warranty claim for them is a lost. There are some successful warrant claims but that also took 2 months or longer.

Since rarely hear any hardware problem in this forum. Unlike Nexus 7 speaker problem which is very frequent. I feel it's quite safe to get the  ap set. Besides getting official warranty might not mean much also judging by their horrendous warranty history.

If you're using something older than the galaxy s5. Just go ahead and buy. Definitely won't regret.  If you using one of the flagship in 2014, don't waste money, hang on to it and wait for future phone. Oneplus is greaf value for money. But it really isn't a flagship killer. Put the pricing aside. It's really just almost as good as other 2014 flagship and you won't really gain much. In fact newer flagship like note 4 and xperia z3 have features that oneplus won't ever get
*
i guess those fans anticipated these warranty issue and they would like to have a phone which is not common in malaysia market like samsung, htc and etc..

You bought 1+1 casing or just back cover?

I can open up the back cover in less than 30 seconds with just my nail and while SIM still in. Loll.

1. Removing keypad light / vibrator board flex is hard. Bottom glued, up pinned. Go slow.
2. Don't try removing LCD from front frame, you will break it.
*
I bought the back case entirely to swap the current back case.
Any tips for me. Where do you start to prick it? Sim tray part or the charger part?
