you wont lose your modem with any rom u flash right?

I did flashed last time and using it for more than 48 hours but i revert back to SlimKat due to excessive heat from AD1718 - but your device may vary.
You may try it no harm done.

normally rom won't include modem file, so i can keep my current modem.. however i read the changelog for archidroid there is a line stated "Reverted Modem back to XXUGNA8".. so i m not sure whether my modem file will get replaced or not..

What happen if my S3 SN changed?any problem if SN number changed?

Initially I m satisfied with unofficial cm12 weekly 2.. i did a clean flash.. but after a few calls n sms my phone can't make call n sms anymore.. tried restart n revert back to previous version also fail.. lastly flash stock rom with odin only solve the problem..

My front glass cracked due to fall on road.

Anyone know usual price for repair at samsung center or repair shops?

Or should DIY like youtube tutorials?

Want to try stock 4.3 sammy based rom.. any recommendation besides archidroid? preferably a samsung bloatware free rom..

using the older version of archidroid. 1.7.16.
kitkat rom is faster, but sometimes got camera crash even with fix. maybe now the camera is better.
this is based on samsung stock. so very stable. no camera FC and other stuffs. fast because no bloatwares. u can opt to install bloats as well.
yes. u can keep ur modem. there is an option for that in the aroma setup...

Hi guys, may I knw what is the difference btwn justarchi unofficial cm12 weekly n nightly? Which 1 better?

nightly is better on features...as it will have cm sources updated daily...but less secure because of having updated sources that hasnt been actually tested.. or maybe even comes with bugs..
weekly collected all of that and compile it into one...go for daily if u are eager to flash everyday

so many new phones out there on market. im glad there are still s3 users.
but if your s3 would fail u. what is ur next phone? any phone with good money value?

Used HTC and Sony before, don't like it.. Xiaomi maybe, Oppo/ Apple too expensive. Windows Phone lack of apps..

Maybe back to Samsung...

Better take this lor while the price is dropping.

A happy user of s3 so far… so many custom ROM to choose… xiaomi offer good spec-money value but dunno its custom ROM support…
