you basically can only make it on the 2nd and 3rd day... first day just watch on nico live.

2nd day : move, Lisa, baby metal, Fripside, FLow

now babymetal totally surprised me. not because its the whole metal and lol lolis singing (i watched the youtubes lol) #afa #afa12
the band members were just, holy cow... hardcore metal with everyone wearing skeletal suits... and omfg the drummer, headbanging ALL THE WAY on ALL SONGS ROFL!

the metal bit of Babymetal was nice. The lead vocal was good also. The squeaky backups made me want to murder small animals. On the whole I felt the entire experience was water+oil. Not mixing. needs something extra to gel it together.

fripside DID trip up a little in the live show. still pretty good in my opinion.

LiSA definitely lived it up. She very veteran now compared to last year's performance I think. I think she has the best crowd control abilities.

I did not stay for flow.

Tried to leave early, but sadly I missed the MRT. Shared a taxi back to downtown with a Japanese fan of Babymetal. He admits ppl either LOVE babymetal, or HATE it. To keep the conversation from awkward we ended up talking about the Tsunami in japan last year. Waiting for taxi for 45 minutes suddenly didn't feel so bad.

The change in venue was generally better for the exhibition, but bad for the waiting lines. Singapore Expo line is outdoors and hot, Suntec line is cramped but at least you get aircon. they need to work out late night logistics too. Organizer did not inform the cab companies about a late night event saturday night, so very few cabs.
