QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 11 2012, 04:04 AM) i dont even care about the girls LOL the metal bit of Babymetal was nice. The lead vocal was good also. The squeaky backups made me want to murder small animals. On the whole I felt the entire experience was water+oil. Not mixing. needs something extra to gel it together.awesome background band XD Added on November 11, 2012, 4:05 amWA best #Afa ever lol #afa12 got the new raise up from m.o.v.e. and LiSA with crossing field, oath sign and oh ya, FULL LIVE BAND LISA WHOOO #afa #afa12 tm revolution was really good, though im just a casual fan and all, so not much comment. #afa #afa12 frip side and FLOW was disappointing. for fripside, lacking experience, and lol mic. FLOW, well lets just say ive been to other more awesome FLOW concerts #afa #afa12 now babymetal totally surprised me. not because its the whole metal and lol lolis singing (i watched the youtubes lol) #afa #afa12 the band members were just, holy cow... hardcore metal with everyone wearing skeletal suits... and omfg the drummer, headbanging ALL THE WAY on ALL SONGS ROFL! fripside DID trip up a little in the live show. still pretty good in my opinion. LiSA definitely lived it up. She very veteran now compared to last year's performance I think. I think she has the best crowd control abilities. I did not stay for flow. Tried to leave early, but sadly I missed the MRT. Shared a taxi back to downtown with a Japanese fan of Babymetal. He admits ppl either LOVE babymetal, or HATE it. To keep the conversation from awkward we ended up talking about the Tsunami in japan last year. Waiting for taxi for 45 minutes suddenly didn't feel so bad. The change in venue was generally better for the exhibition, but bad for the waiting lines. Singapore Expo line is outdoors and hot, Suntec line is cramped but at least you get aircon. they need to work out late night logistics too. Organizer did not inform the cab companies about a late night event saturday night, so very few cabs. QUOTE(kenjixx @ Nov 13 2012, 12:39 PM) Eh?Added on November 13, 2012, 9:36 pm QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 13 2012, 05:25 PM) shouldn't have left TBH, with the crowd (thinking the same as you and what not) you're probably going to miss it anyways with how late LiSA concert went. TBH, with the lineup, i'm already expecting 12-1am++ ending, and people really should be anticipating that considering the arrangement and have car/taxi plans. Yeah i shoulda just stayed.THAT SAID, the organizers could also negotiate better with expo management and/or plan the artists line up better (eg: move some to friday? not have every performers that require setup time bunched up on saturday and so forth) and yeah agree on the whole expo change. as for the cab side, you could actually call for cabs, however that means additional SGD2 ish surcharge (although it isnt that much if its splitter to 3-4 peeps) tried calling. lines all choked up. the taxi i finally got on said saturday is clubbing night so usually the tourists are hailing cabs left and right. QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 15 2012, 10:15 AM) yeah. but if going every year as 一般人, media pass can give a new experience. Still, need to have so much knowledge of the industry to go as media. I tell you I would totally not realize walking by Yoko Kanno. |
