QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 11 2016, 11:23 AM) Received my new MX4 from Meizu Malaysia (via Lazada) this morning.Everything seems to be in order. Comes with free screen protector and TPU case. It is being charged right now. It came with only 20% battery out of the box. With one year full Meizu Malaysia warranty for only RM355. |

A brief review of the new MX4.
1. Very good back camera, sharp and detailed images, accurate colours, HDR but slightly slow auto-focus. 2. Front camera average only. 3. Very good GPS. Initial satellite lock within 5 seconds, even indoors. Accuracy within 5 feet. 4. Audio is crystal clear and loud. Same with the earphones. 5. Battery life is only average by today's smartphone standards. 6. OTA update to the latest global Flyme OS 5.1.11.0G. (with screenshot). No issues. Overall, a great value-for-money smartphone for only RM355. ![]() . |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 18 2016, 01:15 PM) Nah... a lot of people dont mind. Some are still running their old Note 1 and S2 and S3. Rm355 for a brand new phone is a steal if you ask me. Aiyaa, just let him brag lor.....He doesn't know that this new MX4 is to replace my son's Samsung S4 and that I am using a Huawei Nexus 6P. |

Just understand that certain users (especially kids like my son) don't need future-proofing in a smartphone.
That it works and fulfills his needs is all that matters. I can afford to splurge on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for him, but what is the point? He is not interested whether it is running the latest Nougat 7.1 or Lollipop 5.1. But it matters that it runs PokemonGo smoothly for him. |

QUOTE(adie82 @ Nov 26 2016, 06:32 PM) That good. My friend mx4 32gb always on mobile data can last untill 4pm then need to charge... For me, after the OTA update to Flyme 5.1.11.0G, it restarted and automatically installed GMS (Google Mobile Services). I don't have to do anything. Btw yesterday updated to 5.1 but all google service is gone.. lucky can install back when i open hot apps. |

Somehow that slogan reminds me of Donald Trump.

Posted on Twitter about an hour ago.
My MX4 is getting Flyme 6! But dunno whether it will be based on Marshmallow or Nougat because only the latest processors support Nougat. The Mediatek MT6595 on the MX4 is probably not on the Nougat support list, but it has the equivalent power of the Snapdragon 805 processor. ![]() |

Just flashed my MX4 to Flyme 6.7.3.3G Beta.
It is still on Android 5.1. ![]() |
