I like the pro specs but the original design. Imho the fingerprint sensor looks out of place.

QUOTE(Ah hao @ Dec 3 2014, 08:22 PM) Testing Camera 2: Sunset Such a big difference, what settings?1. P41203-183752 by tyngteck, on Flickr2. P41203-184440 by tyngteck, on FlickrAmazing details, but too be honest, manual mode are MUCH better than auto mode. Anyone of you tried the Slow-mo video? The quality is surprisingly bad. Like real real bad |

Are users still experiencing jerking in YouTube and gaming? This was one of my shortlisted phones but the Mtk processor jerkiness hinders me from buying.

QUOTE(acbc @ Jan 25 2015, 03:44 PM) I found few annoying features on this phone. Which one would u choose, Mx4 or Oneplus One if you can only use one phone?1. Unable to use 3rd party SMS app such as Google Messenger. As a result, I can't restore SMS messages from another phone. 2. Camera app kept disabling flash after killing it. Try not to kill it. 3. Grammatical errors - bloody mainland Chinese programmers fail at English! Last but not least, no custom ROM! Not even a custom recovery. Luckily, this phone is for my Dad who only use it as a phone and nothing else. He will kinda sore because can't restore back SMS messages from his old Note 2. I've seen made an XML backup. Hopefully new ROM will solve these 2 annoying bugs. |

Just tried the demo unit at Lowyat Digi shop. Overall impression is it looks nice with the premium design, and camera seems very clear. However UI very laggy, fees like there is a delay when moving from home screen to home screen and response for apps also not instantaneous compared to Nexus 5 or Oneplus or even the Honor 6.

QUOTE(chinti @ Feb 23 2015, 09:47 AM) ok i just listed my nexus 5 on amazon. between MX4 and Mi4, which one is better in term of camera, how smooth it is, and user interface which 1 better? (i know im asking this on MX4 thread lol) Mi4 has a more friendly user interface, its Snapdragon 801 also a lot smoother. Mx4 looks more premium and better camera. |

QUOTE(adam ultimo @ Feb 25 2015, 06:42 PM) Yeah. Battery life is very² dissapointing. Even in power saving mode it makes no difference. What's the average Sot, is the battery problem with the Mx4 or Mx4 pro ?Regarding ussd code, they said "Yes we noted this, we will let hq know. will fix" I agree 100%. I love the hardware. It's the software that undone this phone. Really hope flyme 5.0 will be miles better than current one. I've been offered to trade with my Honor 6, if really that bad I prefer to keep the Honor 6, at least can get a day's use and 5hr+ Sot on average. As long as it's not Samsung or iPhone, it's never easy to find.
