But the problem is DarkVoice amp is like a tank, Figaro is the lightest and weighting 4.5Kg. Maybe you can try little dot amp, quite nice.but 1st r gonna be AD900 RM100 more 2 go |

Just tried A900 few days ago. It is a nice all-rounder can, adding an amp doesn't help much. The only drawbacks is the soundstage a bit narrow and the bass not that deep.

AD700 and M30 is not a same level headphone. AD700 should be 1 level ahead of M30. But open headphone isolation is not that good, and people can hear what are your listening. But, i gonna go for AD700 if i were you.

QUOTE(Deus @ Sep 24 2009, 06:59 PM) but hor, ppl say the leakage is like speaker in small volume ma. so leak oso doesn't mean people know what u listening ma, its more like they know u listen to something only right? For the leakage, it is like the volume of the headphone playing. So i don't think people will hear it unless they sit near to you. Last time i use HD600 my family also no complain about the sound leak, they are just too small.cuz my computer location hor very strategic wan, ppl will walk pass it alot of time. and very near oso, so I wondering, the leakage, can be clear issit? I'm not those type that spam loud volume la, kinda love my ears. as long as can hear the vocals clearly, can d. 1 more question hor, zalman mic good ar? My fren been bugging me to use ventrilo, but since i dun have a headphone and mic i dun wan use lo. And how zalman mic works ar? The pictures don't seem to help much, the mic is clip on shirt or clip on the headphone wire or something else? |

QUOTE(Deus @ Sep 24 2009, 07:18 PM) ya i know up to me, but i really wanna see the leakage like how ma. The leakage should be smaller in volume compare to the volume of headphone when it's off the ear. For mic, i am using something cheapo, so no comment.Deviclot, you mean like, the volume of headphone when its off the ear? Hmm, then ar, the isolation can be quite good for me d. then about good cheap mics to go along, anyone knows any good recommendation? If not, i'll just go low yat and take a really cheap 1. |

QUOTE(jayxunned @ Sep 25 2009, 01:43 PM) A700, i owned one, Bass is very punchy but not deep, don't have the dragging bass effect meaning soundstage not wide. Plus, It's not for long period use though, you head will the headphone weight after some 15min wear, eventhough it's very comfortable. Other than that, midrange is very good, clarity as well, bass still can be improve by amping. If you want pop, rock? just go for es7 and that's enough for it. I owned es7 and a700, difference is only the isolation level and comfort level with a700 had better surround cuz of its 53mm size earcup The A900 has the sound signature you saying. The bass is not deep but punchy, narrow soundstage. But it really nice in vocal songs, the mid is very nice. If want bass, DT770, can make you headache. Haha. |

Sure. Because the foam on the pad will absorb the bass.

Hey dude, M50 and DT770 is different leauge, not same level. M50 bass is muddy bass, which is audiophiles worst nightmare, DT770 bass is deeper and tighter, making it more comfortable and without losing other details.

QUOTE(blueyan @ Oct 11 2009, 10:45 AM) you probably right .. because even Dt440 need good amps to drive , as walabies suggest it need secret amps to fully unleash ! So no doubt Dt770 need a better amps ! Zero dac maybe ^^? not sure Haha, that day the sound pecah because of the cable.yeah that is what walabies and akabane told me , audiophile headphone is more colored and suitable for home users compare to monitoring headphone is more flat suitable for studio purpose. maybe D2boa not powerful enough to drive People tends to avoid to get monitor series if they usage is not monitor those instrument/songs detail , compose music ..because for pure music listening , the audiophile fons will always better than monitor fons , in almost same price range of course. |

It is because M50 and A900 can't produce bass that so low frequency. M50 is definitely muddy, the bass is too strong.
