Edifier for computer speakers are just normal.Sound normal compared to brands like altec lancing,logitech and creative.

actually they are way better than altec lansing/logitech for the similar pricing/category of pc speakers being compared.

creative i make it an exception because of the old gigaworks G500/T3, which are not cheap mind you.

as far as i know, there no oem upgrade speaker can perform anything near real aftermarket speaker at the same price...even double the price...

Edifier man! its the freaking edifier in a Bentley! I must install this in all my daily cars, track cars, the company vans... damn man... so nice the brand...

personally i think the TS made a bad move on his part and choice of words.

I do think Edifier is a pretty decent brand and have pretty good products which may or may not interest some.
they are however still mainly on the pc market despite having the studio series and that market is rather low end compared to many people in ICE/home Hifi.

i personally am using the edifier C3 for my own TV as well; i hate the mids but for the price i paid there's i would say it's still of great value.

ending this, the ICE forum is as dead as it is already, so maybe playing nice just a little bit may help alleviate things

Actually during the 80s or early 90s, Altec Lansing used to make good car speakers.
Not sure about now though.

In terms of computer speakers, Edifier are way better than AL and Logitech if you are comparing speakers in the same price range.
