QUOTE(ryanlaw86 @ Nov 18 2014, 09:27 PM) ey, how do you handle ventilation ? i like this question serious question here ... do you use inline/axial fans coupled with carbon filters or just normal exhaust fans ?? many asked what about heat problem simple je, if you expose the metal to sun directly, the heats expanding inside the container but if you insulate from outside you dont even let the heat reach the container, so no interior insulation needed, do it externally in which i will use roof 8 feet high, used pallet outside i have an exhaust fan and aircond, exhaust to be ran 24/7 using solar hopefully if ada money extra |

QUOTE(azreeceli @ Nov 18 2014, 09:39 PM) the floor, u know the wood rumah org kaya tu? ya, i use that one, but made of rubber and 5mm thick, more silent compared to wooden flooring rumah banglo it's called laminated flooringroof? yes, 16feet wide 8 feet tall still got land? yes, for bumi, starting from 35K 2400sqft the material is either MDF or recycled rubber. if you want to save cost, use 12mm waterproof plywoods instead and as for the kalebet u keep saying, it's actually culvert if you need water supply, just use a 90-deg TEE and connect it from any existing pipeline that belongs to you (or your neighbor) you'd also need some form of ventilation, so a 2-fan system will be the easiest. you'd need another ventilation fan inside the toilet for obvious reasons you will need noise insulation for the upper deck. when it rains, it will be quite deafening inside the easiest way to insulate is to use 2" rock wool and fix it to the underside of the upperdeck with 2" chicken wire mesh (easily available). weld some 3" steel rod so u can tie the chicken wire mesh. it will look ugly, so cover it up with 9mm plywoods. good luck. |

This is great!! I support your ideas.
TS, have u seen the design of The Cabin in Langkawi? I think it is based on the same concept and it has toilets!!! And make it modular in a way it can be upgraded maybe by joining 2 or more containers for expansion. Also, google bronte attic. It has a modular bathroom. |
