QUOTE(continuum.trio @ Sep 16 2006, 08:16 AM) Hi, Want to check whether can I find insurance company in Malaysia that will insure laptop for theft, fire, loss, damage etc? Thanks. They used to do it until middle of this year and suddenly all the insurers stopped. You can get T3 theft only now that includes global coverage. ( we r selling ) As for fire, flood, etc...get a home content insurance. This post has been edited by headache: Sep 16 2006, 06:15 PM

QUOTE(ychwang @ Sep 16 2006, 06:38 PM) RM199 is only warrantee price. Insurance wont be that cheap. If insurance 1k to insure 5k, you lost it every 5years also worth. Oi m8, what nonsense r u talking about? My company is selling the insurance for RM199 and covers up to RM6500 on laptops.

Global Theft insurance larr..accident damage coverage is available from the manufacturer or get a home content insurance which covers flooding, repair cost, etc. You can get it from our retailer, Alamtronica and they just opened in SS15 Subang Jaya. Mention headache and they will sell you the insurance without buying the laptop from them. This post has been edited by headache: Sep 16 2006, 06:58 PM

Sorry m8, don't think I can help u. We only arranged to bundle our notebooks with the insurance.
U need to redirect your question to insurance salesman above. Anyway, I don't think you can claim the full amount after the 2nd year.
Good Luck!
