Yes, you are right. 16 is too low. That is the reason that it can still be found in the market whereas other models can't

looking for Tempered glass for quite sometime, but every brand have a mixed review. so wondering can you guys post a photo of your phone with tempered glass applied(front view), so that we can know better of the particular tempered glass.
I will start first. Rock Brand Tempered glass - Couldn't even fit the Screen, as you can see in the photo.
