V taper is the ideal figure for guys as it appeals to both sexes! In addition do not forget the legs. Have you seen muscular upper body guy with small legs? Look like Johnny bravo.

I also suggest that you get a coach to help you.

I assume that your body is the ectomorph type. Typically skinny body that is hard to gain weight. So your diet and exercise have to be customised for you according to your goals, commitment and finance (especially food budget). Personally I also go for sports massage twice a year to rejuvenate and reinvigorate the body that has been working so hard all the while.

Most gyms have either their own coaches and you could also hire independent coaches. I cannot recommend any coaches as I have 'sacked' my coaches long time ago (lost contact).

You can PM me for some confidential tips. Otherwise it might sound like commercial here.
