There are several versions of Archer C7. What version is yours?
You can find the version number on a sticker at the bottom of the router.

Try the latest firmware: http://www.tp-link.com.my/support/download...r+C7&version=V2

I'm not sure if this firmware supports Maxis Fibre & UniFi or not, you'll just have to try.
If nothing works, you might want to try OpenWRT.

so that means you haven't used the c7 as connected directly to BTU? planning to send this back to their service center but not sure if they will be able to fix the issue.

I have managed to temporarily fixed the problem by

http://www.tp-link.com.my/article/?faqid=703

-setting the clone/not clone over and over and until the I receive the packet.

However, everytime the router restart I would need to do this over and over again.

TP-Link, upgrading the firmware does not help at all.

I'm using Archer_C7_V2_140704

The first Archer C7 v2 i got is a fake which shown but a overlapped sticker with V2 on the box and router, it is clearly V1 when you lift the label.

I returned it and got back the same thing but I figured out how to use it.
