yes. the qx series is definitely not for u to carry around everyday. for fast point and shoot, most will still rely on the camera on smartphone.
depending on your needs la. like the qx10 have the 10x optical zoom which is missing in most smartphone except the galaxy k zoom. i find this very useful on my recent trip and it's still small enuf to be pocketable. and the images can be transferred to my phone easily for viewing and sharing. for it's current price, i think it's not that bad
the qx100 have the equivalent image quality of the great RX100 camera, at a much cheaper price.
btw, i'm not here to promote qx series. my point being, the camera on z1/z2/z3 does have great potential to produce great images as proven in qx10. only the software ruined everything... damn sony mobile
