From what I understand, you need a Min of 1.35Amp Output to charge via the Magnetic Connector. Anything below that and you'll get a message telling you that it's not enough. So, as most people use Sammy's and they push something between 1.5 to 2A's, they would be ideal for the magnetic charger...

well, then that depends on how often u wanna change your phone.

but then it's not like after u sign a contract, u can't change your phone. you can still buy other phone from any other shop even if u r tied with the 2 year contract right? that's y i said u must choose the right plan for your needs. if the plans suit your needs, it doesn't really matter how long is the duration of the contract.

3. this also boils down to your needs. if u r a light user, why over commit the plan u sign? as i mention in your point #2, do not upgrade any plan just because you want the phone. and some people very itchy hands can't wait for price drop. i don't see anything wrong signing a cheapest plan that suits your needs and yet u get RM200/RM300 discount over market price. it may not seems like a huge discount, but then i don't see anything wrong with it too and u won't lose anything out of it.

Again i just would like to say, sign a plan which suits your needs. do not get caught up by the operators' "trap".

but pls notice that when using magnetic dock charge whether u using cable or docking, must use sony charger.
other charger with lower frequency(or Hz?) will dmg your charger and cannot charge also.
