I think qualcomm chip has almost all LTE band supported.
You need root to release those locked bands.
Of course take your own risk.

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Mar 9 2015, 09:27 AM) im not sure if LTE for that Docomo set will work because it covers a part of Maxis's 1800MHz spectrum. i found that it supports B1, B3, B19, B21 Hmm...Actually i don't care much about LTE. Our data plan is so expensive and LIMITED. I don't see a point for high speed and low quota plan. And, my phone never connected to LTE before. |

QUOTE(jasonchaw @ Mar 10 2015, 03:13 PM) Sony is always late than other.Z3 is consider faster. I hope one year one flagship will give them more time on firmware, as what they said, user experience is more important now. |

QUOTE(ultrageek @ Mar 13 2015, 09:49 AM) Correct. I use my old charger (0.7mA) and it works. From what I understand, you need a Min of 1.35Amp Output to charge via the Magnetic Connector. Anything below that and you'll get a message telling you that it's not enough. So, as most people use Sammy's and they push something between 1.5 to 2A's, they would be ideal for the magnetic charger... I guess it should not have any problem under 1.35A. It is slower but i don't care, i charge overnight. BTW, i use currentwidget to test the power input from USB and magnetic, both of them are giving around the same. |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Mar 13 2015, 11:18 AM) well, then that depends on how often u wanna change your phone. From my experience, it is not really worth to sign contract with telco here, unless you meet few things here.but then it's not like after u sign a contract, u can't change your phone. you can still buy other phone from any other shop even if u r tied with the 2 year contract right? that's y i said u must choose the right plan for your needs. if the plans suit your needs, it doesn't really matter how long is the duration of the contract. 1. It is very new phone or iphone. It is because the RRP do not drop, and the outside shop is still selling with firm price, and you get the latest phone. I usually suggest within 3 months phone. After few months, the phone shop usually drop rm100-250~, which will totally offset your contract discount. 2. Plan that really suitable for you Do not upgrade any plan just because you want the phone. You pay even more. 3. Recommend to take only 2nd lowest plan or above Not really recommend to take the cheapest plan. Since it discount rm300~ and tied for 2 years. I rather wait 2-3 months price drop. |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Mar 13 2015, 12:42 PM) 1. yes. this u will also need to do your research on the market price of the phone and compare yourself My #3 point is:2. agreed 3. this also boils down to your needs. if u r a light user, why over commit the plan u sign? as i mention in your point #2, do not upgrade any plan just because you want the phone. and some people very itchy hands can't wait for price drop. i don't see anything wrong signing a cheapest plan that suits your needs and yet u get RM200/RM300 discount over market price. it may not seems like a huge discount, but then i don't see anything wrong with it too and u won't lose anything out of it. Again i just would like to say, sign a plan which suits your needs. do not get caught up by the operators' "trap". The cheapest plan usually discount about rm300, if you minus the [real price] offered by phone shop, which is usually 100-200 cheaper than RRP. So you sign 2 years contract but get only RM100 discount, which is very not worthy. Of course, i recommend when you suitable to take better plan, not force yourself to get it. QUOTE(jasonchaw @ Mar 16 2015, 11:29 AM) I didn't count the time.. coz I will keep playing my phone while it charge also. .. From my experience, Sony is using single antenna and also the antenna design, which cause the phone weaker signal and speed than other brands.but pls notice that when using magnetic dock charge whether u using cable or docking, must use sony charger. other charger with lower frequency(or Hz?) will dmg your charger and cannot charge also. I already dmg 2 charger. lol maybe z3 1 they save cost? my z3 very hard to connect my modem even my room just 5meter away from my modem............... but my ps3 no issue about the wifi connection But Sony has super good design for the GPS antenna. |

Only few countries for D6603.
Probably available for us for next few hours to next few days. Seem like doesn't support RAW. This post has been edited by wc_how: Mar 16 2015, 07:33 PM |

QUOTE(AthrunIJ @ Mar 17 2015, 10:48 AM) I am quite ok with it if the phone comes with at least 64gb.Internal memory is much faster than memory card. But Z4 is not my target. If one year one flagship, Z6 probably is my next phone. |
