minimum rm20 is applicable when redeeming smart$ to pay for petrol. if your smart$ amount is below rm20, the balance will be charged to your cc.

Surprised by UOB. Automatically offset RM50 GST for my UOB VOX card. Didn't have to threaten to cancel or call their CS and beg.

Strange, was trying to redeem petrol for first time with Smart$. Attendant asked me how much i want to use, i wasn't sure so she told me to pump first then deduct from card. So after pumping RM60, she tried to deduct smart$ but somehow doesn't work, the receipt just comes out charging RM60 to my card instead without deducting smart$.

Any advice?

i already guessed so. by right they should down by around 10 cent but i know they got no money. so will not change it.

Folks, Please be aware of the unethical UOB bank for the following situation.

My credit card was issued at May, and supposed UOB has to charged me Gov Tax on May 2015, but due to BNM changed regulations that the Gov Tax for credit card will be discontinue with effect on Apr 1st, but UOB "seems so smart", charged me the Gov Tax on 30th Mac 2015.

Luckily I checked my statement and found out such ridiculous transactions. I guess they try to bet if someone dont check their credit card statement, they will earned that RM50, but imagine with lots of peoples didnt check their statement, you can imagine how much they earned from this.

Damn UOB. I am going to report this to BNM soon.

this evening uob cs called telling me that i'm not in the winner list for week 5 and week 8. i scolded them and complained again. now they put my cashback request for management approval.

that is the reason i hate uob card promotion.
