Hi guys, my Almera's gps navigator always say 'please wait...' whenever i switch to the Navigator mode. Music everything okay. Only when I press the Navigator button, the issue arise. I have waited from 30-45 minutes for a few times and still 'please wait..'. Anyone here had this issue before? how to solve it. Thanks!

Last time i read news about a bunch of owners gather at WV HQ complaining bout their cars.
*
Thats cause of their famous dsg among thr 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 tsi engines.

Cars involved were polo tsi, golf tsi, polo gti, jetta and passat.

All got funky gearing. Vw knows this prob but doesnt recall back. Instead let u all come back 1 by to claim new gearbox.

I myself sudah chsnge the polo's cluth at 28k mileage. Can u imagine? 28k need to chabge clutch.

Waaaa...i calculated my fuel consumption on my own. 20.5 liters of fuel can go as far as 180km only. To achieve this, you need to drive very careful. 100% city drive...
*
This is even worst than mine. My car is 10.5km/litre. So 20.5 litres will give me 215.25kms.

Wah.. seriously. How can??? No way TCM can be that insensitive to current owners.
There goes my Almera RV down the drain..  cry.gif
City driving is normal to get that figures.. Even Vios suffer. Only honda City can get a little bit better FC.
*
My polo tsi can clock 13kms/litres. Exct same route as i travel on almera.

Is polo lighter than almari?

Not sure but poli is way more stable on high speeds. Car doesnt float at all. Not to mention, decent pickup brows.gif

QUOTE(jabz @ Dec 26 2014, 12:17 PM)
my manually calculation - highway 85% average speed maintain @ 140-150km/h, city/normal trunk road 15%

KL - ALOR SETAR - PADANG BESAR - ALOR SETAR - KUALA PERLIS - ALOR SETAR - KL

reset trip A = 0

full tank 3 times - fill in each time after the meter blink at 2 bar
1) RM82.60 = 36.549litre
2) RM80.37 = 35.562litre
3) RM83.78 = 37.071litre

total mileage = 1238km

currently already blink = as two bar left

total RM = 246.75
total litre = 109.182

average = 11.3839km/litre
          8.82liter/100km

im heavy footed.... lol
*
Mines 10.5kms/litre. I win

After reading this thread, i decide not to get back to SC for re-tuning. Technically, most of the Almari are like that.. just live with it T.T

Arrow, google for this clause ->

"Nissan Almera owners... have you unlock the full potential of your Almera's fuel efficiency? Stay tuned to learn how you can achieve best FC & win RM5,000 in cash..."

Not sure whether their Almaris are guzzler, but mine is really like one.. lol
*
U are not alone biggrin.gif

Googled. Now i can sleep soundly. Seems like town driving fc is horrid.

*
Wah. Why did u drag ur car so much?

Normal 830-5pm i think. U can just call the nearest sc and tell them u r coming in.

U should service at 1k, cuz the initial engine oil they use is cooking oil quality shocking.gif

My mechanic didnt say much but he adjusted the free play of the brakes to a very nice level. Nissan did that for me but always got sound again after 3 days. My foremen did it for me and sudah 1 month plus still ok.

Ya. Im worried abt ur service. Exceed by twice, they may tok kok sing song. Just tell them u outstation no chance to service, hope they buy it.

Is that effective?
*
Not bad. For my cat seat bubble/tumor, i emailed them asking can claim waranty or not, they replied and ask me to head to nearest sc for photo. Once i done that, within few days they called me and tell me to go back yo sc and its readyfor replacement.

Quite efficient
