Do you guys hear any knocking sound emitted from the dashboard (koorrkk) following with a jolt from the steering wheel? It sounds like something knocks against the plastic of the dashboard. This only happen when you run into uneven surface while conering?

Yes, the quality is really terrible... my air cond is failing... sometimes it is cold sometimes it is not... also 2014 model

Should I worried? I thought that only happen to turbo engine..

And anyone have experience with braking noise? Complaint to SC few times but still happening...

Actually I found out later that it's the air cond fan still spinning after engine off, is it a sign that going to kong?

My complaint to Nissan Malaysia and Edaran Tan Chong:

"I bought my Almera M/T E specs from Tan Chong Bayan Lepas in January 2013.  My left rear wheel bearing spoiled in July 2013 and I got the replacement done free of charge under warranty.  This car model is known to be problematic with wheel bearings and air-cond compressor cooling fans malfunction that happens to too many units of this model and had been reported to occur in as high as 90% of the car units from the owners of Almera in Malaysia, meaning that this is something very ridiculous!  Wheel bearings are not 'wear and tear' parts and they are supposed to last the lifetime of the car as a norm.  Even my previous car Proton Wira still did not suffer from any wheel bearings problem by the time it was 11 years when I sold it off in 2011.  How can a car like Almera that I only bought for less than 1 year suffer from wheel bearing malfunction even though the total mileage was only 4770 km at the time of the replacement?  I believe this must be caused by the part supplier issue or even the faulty design to start with initially.  I do believe that Nissan Malaysia doesn't intend to solve the wheel bearings issue at all because there are still many complaints from Almera owners by those who recently purchased the cars in 2015.  It's been more than 3 years since the Almera model was launched in Malaysia and until today majority of the owners still need to replace the wheel bearings (and fans too) pretty often.  Now that it's February 2016 and I believe that I am encountering the same wheel bearing problem for the similar left rear side because I could hear humming sound coming from that side when cruising at 60 to 80 km per hour.  This bearing was already replaced in July 2013 previously and it is failing again!  How could this keep happening over and over non-stop? Don't tell me that Nissan Almera owners need to bear the cost of wheel bearings replacement for the lifetime of their cars while other car owners of the Toyota and Honda makes can have their worry-free days regarding wheel bearings throughout the duration of their car ownership?  I demand that Tan Chong Malaysia replace my bearings (fans in future) free for the lifetime of my car ownership because I know Nissan did a bad job either during the car design stage or the parts supplier has been supplying and will continue to supply defective wheel bearings and fans without any means to address the well-known problems forever.  I don't might gathering all the Almera owners in Malaysia with wheel bearings and fans complaints to petition publicly against Nissan Malaysia by going to the mass media in order to make you guys walk the path of Volkswagen by joining them in the Hall of Shame and eat your humble pies."

Don't think it's going to be effective unless more and more people join in the crowd.

Sure. Was driving it for 2 weeks few days ago. It didnt float for me. Travelled to ipoh and back.

before i buy another fren use almera also no problem.. only handfull lucky ones i guez... and yes i also do believe after warranty most probably the localized parts by tan chong will create issue.. but i believe the spare should be cheaper compare to other cars,hopefully...

I jus got back my car few days ago. Went to replace cooling coil. Took 4 days.

During taking the car got examine the air cond, looks fine. Dashboard got few scratches and fitting problem. Small issues. Steering aso not fit properly , a about 5 degrees steer to left.

After 3 days, noticed there is a vrooom sound (fan spinning sound) , definitely air cond related sound. Tried to check if the sound came from radiator fan but it is not. When i off the air cond, the vrroom sound will only stop after 2-3 seconds. The sound not loud but noticeable if listen carefully and come with minor vibrations from dashboard. Plan to send back and check again.

I had door noise especially going on bumps ....send to nissan body shop they did adjustment on the hinge (ketuk)
Nother noise from underneath they tighten the ekszoss and under carriage .
*first time they change wheel bearing but noise still appeared .I had to got to sc 3 times to solve the noise issue .

Hi, been using Almera for more than 3 years. I'm wondering if anyone can share solution for my problem. There is "tak tak" sound when driving over uneven road. It's kind of annoying me.  Last week send my almera to SC, to check my steering cause it's like something lose inside it, and found out it was the steering rack. but "tak tak" sound they said from the exhaust but I heard it is not from exhaust but more to rear left. felt annoyed with those sound.

Check and dont think its brake caliper pins since its the back of the car.. hmm

Fuel consumption is really subjective to all drivers. Some said they're light footed some said they're not. Until we really have some kind of standards or exact ways to measure the force of our foot while stepping on the gas pedal or our driving style, we may just leave out the fuel consumption part. One of my friend told me that his 18 years old Perdana consumes less fuel than his 14 years old Iswara. 

Bro, don't measure based on that as it's less accurate. Try filling up the tank till full, drive, fill up again and calculate based on the fuel u used and the distance u traveled. It's much more accurate this way.
