I just change it last week. the PJ sc told me 1304 after GST but i bought windscreen insurance so FOC. 

7.8L = 100km
1L = X

7.8x = 100
X = 100/7.8

1L = 12.8 km

I would say it all depends on the driver itself.. fc should b about the same for the sushi car in this segment..

2013 owner here. No mods done and summary of experience:

1. Except for damaged fan motor, no other problems.

2. Super fuel efficient. Odo is sitting at 35k, and I get approx 480km per full tank. Funny thing is if I stick to one petrol brand, I get 420-440km. But when I switch it up weekly I get more. Very intriguing.

3. Driving interstate is also fuel saving. Drove to Ipoh and back and used 6.5/100km.

4. Tanchong service very expensive. Will take it out when warranty ends.

This one I have to agree. Even at 140 also quite quiet for me.

However my only grouse is when the car moves from stationary. Will hear a distinct high pitch gear change sound from gear one to two.

If raining i wouldn't dare to push above 100kph..scared haha

20k mileage or next 6 months to service if your service centre used fully synthetic oil. That's what my service centre advisor told me.

Hi all, new Almera E Auto (basic package with nothing but the Nismo bodykit) owner here. Just took delivery of it on Tuesday this week (about 10 days ago from date of order). So far so good but I'm just a point A to B car person. Previous car was a Wira 1.5. Current cars are Rusa 1.3, Wira 1.3, Getz and a Kenari which was traded in for the Almera.

As you can see I like affordable cars and tend to keep them for a long time so hopefully the Almera can last long too.

Now keeping a eye on FC.

First question to the sifus here, are 3rd party Apple Carplay head units available? Any recommended brands?

Made 580km trip today balik kampung on a single tank with full load. Averaging 5.8l per 100km. Not bad. Arrived home with 2 bars left. The ride was smooth although there are some occasionally slow traffic. Top speed at 130km/h and I think averaging somewhere around 90-100

Err, did you have experience this o not and i'm not sure if its normal. Better check here first before I go to Service Center to complain:

1. When cold start (aft off engine for long time), and ON the air condition, i can hear a loud noise that the air cond is starting/started.

2. After the car is running i always hear a "tang" (a noise) i think is the radiator fan kick in (start) noise.. each time the radiator fan on / off, i can hear that noise, i guess it happen the whole journey.

My Almeera is the lowest spec (manual air cond).
