Aiya, it boils down to whether they want to do or not. I wasn't the only fella requesting for such things in DPC after I bought the house. My neighbour, who owns a timber flooring company, also requested to DPC to use his own timber materials. And they gave in!

So IMO, more people ask, more likely they will give in. Keep it coming folks...

They should allow flexibility so that we don't have to hack the walls and incur expensive reno after completion.

It is a good sign that the developer has given bathtubs to linked houses. The developers who give this in KL are the villas, Semi D and bungalows. All costing above $2m.

Uncle, I'm not that old to have seen a bathtub in a linked house. Condo, high end ones, yes.

From Rawang to Sg Buloh exit near Sierramas is 15km, only 15mins without congestion time. Toll is $2, cheaper than LDP's $2.10.

Why you think we lobby for the hotwater piping? The most basic option is to buy an instant electric system say panasonic, that also costs a min of rm600 without installation. Here we have about 5 bathrooms. You do the math. Electricity consumption savings for solar over electricity is a minimum of about rm80/mth.

Has anyone tried hammering a nail into a sandbrick wall?

On a positive note, we're getting timber flooring, not some cheap laminated timber like the ones given by Eco World Majestic despite flashy newspaper inserts and showroom but the end product looks cheap despite the high price tag.
