How's the quality?

yup the bricks are everywhere and also economy slow down actually helped them where the parents will go for this instead of lego

but as an advise it is best to wash those bricks first before letting your children play with it as the bricks are sometimes dirty...

anyone able to give a comparison review between Lepin Disney Castle and Lele Disney Castle?

i'm planning to get it but not sure which one to get as my personal experience with Lepin - too many missing pieces; while Lele - brick quality and colors are below expectations.

thanks.

i doubt anyone sane will buy both lepin and lele version to compare...after all buying bootlegs is to save money isn't ?

but you may be able to google for reviews online, or some ppl here will buy lele version instead of lepin version and give reviews...

with regards to missing parts...it's not lepin's fault, it's the factory workers who are responsible for packing the bricks

thanks for the reply... agree with u that no one will buy both and compare but would like to know the feedback from those who owns Lele version.

Lepin is notorious for missing pieces becos they don't focus on the packaging QC.

anyway, i've been trying to find the review but not much info thus ended up posting the question here.

I'm of the opinion that every company should look at end to end supply chain so as not to impact their reputation.

As such, Lepin QC should beef up their effort on missing bricks.

Is it accurate to say that Lepin are fundamentally more at risk of missing bricks or is this something that cuts across all 'compatilble' brick manufacturers to include LeLe, etc?

I wanna buy the lepin UCS millennium falcon from taobao but worried that its too big.

Anyone got shipping problem when buying from taobao due to size?

I bought smaller sets before using the taobao 'direct shipping' option with no problem.

decool added an extra balljoint piece at the doors to ensure that the doors close shut & the gaps on the big pieces which form the front hood r smaller too.
the gearbox works but its quite rough and clunky. might be a good idea to apply some grease on the gears when u build yours. im currently building the body now and its too much work to back track and regrease everything. well u get what u paid for a knock off set.
