Has anyone heard of the liquid chalk? or liquid grip?

My friend got it from US, and I think that it gives a great grip compare to normal chalk!

Just wondering if anyone have tried it, and knows where to buy it.

Cheers.

Lifting glove increase the circumference of the bar you holding and weaken your grip.

I agree with you mate! Not a fan of straps too, it throws me off when I'm going for a PR.

A little too long and some unnecessary comment here and there but this'll help.

Ive tried that! however, the chalk will separate from the alcohol, and I'll have to use something to stir it before workouts, which is a huge pain in the ass. shakehead.gif

So far from what I've read it has something to do with how fine the chalk is grinded, type of alcohol and the ratio. Do update us how it goes if you're gonna experiment.

P.S Most of the results I've come across came from the rock climbing community. Just thought maybe that info would help.

I like the regular powdered chalk! but the problem is most commercial gyms (or the gym i go to) doesn't allow the usage of powdered chalk.
Could you link me to a few sellers? Cheers mate thumbup.gif

Not every gym allows chalk since it causes quite a mess and not everyone likes leaving a mess behind after using public equip. That's what liquid chalk solves.

Pretty pricey lol. 73.30 for 60 days use. For chalk.

no mess with chalk ball, just rub the ball around your palm and fingers

even with powder chalk, put it into your whey tub, simply dip hand inside, shake shake and take out

but those with cardiovascular problem like asthma or something should avoid powder chalk

Yeah but it does fall off your hand here and there as you use it. Not to mention especially the barbell. That's why most commercial gym won't allow it.

Yea thats the real issue.. Commercial gyms are convenient but too many rules haha
Question, how much are you willing to pay for liquid chalk?

But the chalk would stick to the bar, if u go to the gym 3-4 times a week, they would eventually find out who's the one leaving all the white prints hahaha

Btw, this was the one i tried, my friend says it doesn't last 60 days use, its around 45 usage, that day we did one deadlift workout (plus accessory workouts) and use up to 3 usage.

Assuming it lasts as it says 60 days, I'm expecting somewhere around 15-30 bucks same price with regular ones (since the regular ones lasts way longer). Maybe 40 bucks but that's kinda pushing it. But if it's just 45 usage, just keep it man. I'll make mine.
