I don't really understand the calculation.
According to TNB table there, RM1800 deposit is for maximum demand load of 6.1-7kW.

In the deposit letter they stated my estimated connected load is 2.8kW. How they calculate 2.8kW equivalent to 6.1kW maximum demand?

OUG Parklane is also situated on commercial land with shop lots and offices below, http://www.akisama.com.my/projects/parklane-oug

But the electrical tariff of its service apartments is based on residential rate. Their meter deposit only cost RM500. I know this because my sibling owns a unit there. In conclusion, it can be done. We just need more owners to prove that we are using it for residential purpose.

Yes my current house in Shah Alam is on commercial land title. Even need to pay commercial rate for quit rent but my TNB deposit was only RM500 still.

If I'm not mistaken, we have one year free service charge for this right?
