Hi all, I just install a morel pulse recently directly connect from my HU (pioneer 63XX). I found out that the component set were much clarify in terms on human voice (especially female with high pitch).


I believe the component will work pretty well with a decent amp along but I've having difficulties on chosing the right amp for it. Need all your advice for that.

Best to use high powered amps around 100-120w rms to match its high power rating. I've used similar Morel component set before and I powered the mid and the tweeters individually with separate channel of about 50-60w each.

Your speakers are 110w rms @4ohm.
Ideally you need 200w rms @4ohm.
At least get 100w rms @4ohm.
The blaupunkt above is 60w which will give you sound but will either be weak, slow and/or not precise.

can recomend anything around 500?

Just get a 4 channel amp 75rms x 4 then bridge it. Should be able to get around 200 rms or more.

What's your budget? Steg K series amp is a good choice. Clean and underrated too. But not easy to get one nowadays. I will suggest that u find some old school stuffs in which the quality is rare nowadays.

problem with steg K is the button selectors...

got to stock the parts as they break down quite often due to shocks and dirt...

actually...my budget is around 500 or less...being aiming for some used but decent baby~

Can find boaton gt42 used for 500+. Saw on zth forum recently.

i have 1 for your budget used to pair it with morel tempo->maximo->hybrid ovation. clean deep bass and good high coz can sing until 80kHz.

My advice is don't go for no name brand/home brand in amplifiers. Not reliable based on my experience.

So bro you got your amp? Try zapco works quite OK with Morel. Do about 180 watts should be fine.

Steg, Audio System, Audison is warm amp & a good pair with Focal.... Morel need dynamic & clean amp like ARC Audio, Zapco, JL Audio, Genesis, TRU & etc...
