I never sold a single plantation even if it dropped from RM 3k to RM 2k CPO...

CPO price will be low as long as WTI oil price is low as they are related.

Same trick when buying OnG and CPO companies durign these hard times, buy the most efficient producers and the ones with the most orderbook/landbank.

Cash rich does not hurt either.  laugh.gif

Oil & Gas drop..... oil & gas products also continue to drop...

In this case chemicals made from OnG.  laugh.gif

But I think even as the selling price of chemicals drop, the feedstock price drop will offset it... maybe.  sweat.gif

downstream activities do not really see the commodity price. it depends on the product demand. the buyer also know the feedstock cheap d, sure ask for cheaper product price 1.

I think the low price of oil is a major threat to Msia's budget.
Read today that they budget at $110 oil!    shocking.gif

How much of income can come form Petronas?  Remembering that Patronas contributed 30% of the budget

How will they balance their budget seeing that they are addicted to high oil price AND DEFICIT spending????????

i afraid 1MDB issue is more complicated than this

Efficient planters .. high yield per ha & high oil extraction rate = low cost per ton produced..  brows.gif
